Your elite status does not get you a lunch in the MDR. Unless you are in Reserve class then there will be one MDR open and one line once the MDR fills people must wait for tables to finish

Of course. My days of f hauling around formal clothes is long gone. At first after the restart I brought nicer slacks, long sleeve shirts and a sports coat. Then stopped all that Many people do not wear ties anymore and very few wear tuxes and ball gowns. Much easier -

I no longer own a tie and no longer take a sports coat or suit on cruises. I dress the same for casual and formal dinners. Crew pants , short sleeve shirt with buttons and slip on shoes -

I have done insides cabins in the past. I would be fine if that is what you can do. I am more concerned that you will miss ports to watch a race you wanted to see -

Just an example we cruised during World Cup. About half the games were shown in cabins. Around the ship you needed to check the patter to see where they were being show. Some were on MUTS some in the Vista lounge and some at the casino bar -
