Not a big fan of the blue glass but the room has really peaked my interest. I plan on keeping my booking and enjoy something different and new for me.

I am going to have implants from all my teeth gnashing if I don’t see a video on my cabin asap. J/K. It’s the banging of my head against the wall that has my wife worried.

We are booked in cabin #9349 for July. I hope that someone is able to video the room. All the back and forth kinda has me wondering if I should try to change the room selection or even upgrade to a suite. Any suggestions?

We will be sailing on our first Princess cruise this July. I have been on over 50 cruises but I am amazed at how little I know about Princess. You guys have really helped and I thank each of you for helping me understand a heck of a lot more. I just don’t know what I don’t know. Thank you

Guess we have to agree to disagree. I do want to know how the sausage is made and what’s in it. If I am paying over 10k for a trip I believe that I should know how the sausage is made.

I am still waiting for Princess to be forthcoming and be fully transparent and explain to their paying customers exactly what is going on. For full transparency, I am not sailing until July and the delay has not affected me. But, I have been on over 50 cruises on other lines. I have never cruised on Princess. Inquiring minds would like to know why the delay. I promise I can handle the truth but have a difficult time Princess not being forthcoming. We plan on still cruising on the Sun in July and see if we want to book Princess in the future or stay with HAL and MSC YC.

It was difficult to decide but I booked a reserve mini suite cabana on the Sun Princess for this July. Main reason I really just wanted to see if we like the cabana area. There really wasn’t that much of a difference in price at 5he time I booked. We also have the premier package mainly for the picture package and the champagne.

For full disclosure I have never sailed Princess. We will go on our first Princess cruise in July and greatly looking forward to the experience. We have sailed HAL a few times recently and really enjoyed HAL. Older crowd and more laid back than Carnival or X. We are looking for something in the middle with Princess. The shows on HAL are not very good in my opinion but their music walk is very entertaining.

We don’t sail until July so I think we are safe!? Princess needs to be fully transparent and tell the whole story. Guests can handle the truth but this seems as if Princess is trying to hide information. Uncertainty is never a good thing when you have invested so much time and money. This is my first cruise on Princess. Not having second thoughts but I really feel badly for all the effected passengers.

I have been on 30 plus cruises on Carnival. Went on Holland three times and really enjoyed all three cruises. Sailed RCCL several years ago along with NCL, MSC in YC (3 times and really enjoyed MSC). Trying Princess to maybe get the balance from HAL to something a little different. All offer something a little to a great deal different.

We are using EZ Air this summer to fly to Barcelona. Round trip with BC to Barcelona and PE home from Rome. Total airfare for two is $4830.00. We leave from Shreveport , La. There are two stops on way to Barcelona and from Rome nonstop to Dallas then to Shreveport. From what I have been able to research this seems to be a great price. Time will tell.

I have never been on a bad cruise. Some have been better than others but I have always enjoyed cruising. I have been on over 50 cruises and very happy that I have gotten to experience the what each line and ship has to offer. Can’t wait to sail Princess Sun in July.

Rotterdam has all three venues. BB King, Rolling Stones and the pianos. The music has been hit and miss at times. I was on Rotterdam in July and the Rolling Stone band was awesome, B B King good and piano players ok. In December BB King very good, piano players ok and Stones terrible. But, music is a lot like food. What I may enjoy you won’t .

I have been on three MSC cruises all in the YC. Last cruise was in July 2022. I am booking another MSC cruise for November 2025 when MSC begins to cruise out of Galveston. Because MSC status matched I am now Diamond with a little over 10,000 points. Do I lose my points if I don’t cruise within three years? I had one agent tell me that I will lose the status and one said as long as we are booked we should be fine. If I do lose my points will I be able to status matched again ( I am Platinum on Carnival) or do I start at zero again?

For full disclosure, we have only sailed HAL 3 times. Westerdam to Alaska in September 2022. There were only 10 teenagers on the ship and almost zero small children. In July 2023 we cruised the Rotterdam from Amsterdam and there were a few children and never had any issue. They were very well behaved and 5he parents acted like parents. Most enjoyable. This past December we cruise on the Rotterdam again and there were a few more children but never experienced a problem. There is a kids club on HAL but no water park. Really enjoyed the music on HAL.

We love HAL but going to cruise Princess for the first time July. Service on HAL is very good and the food is good. I would advise you to do Club Orange if the ship you choose has a separate dining room for Club Orange. We are looking forward to experience the difference between Princess and HAL.

Since we are cruising from Barcelona in July, I was wondering how many kids might be on a Princess ship. We sailed from Amsterdam last July on HAL and there were not many kids. I like kids so don’t take it wrong.

I did understand. We sail HAL at times and love the vibe. We have never sailed Princess but from what I have read it is about the same vibe but more active. Looking forward to see the difference firsthand.

30’s is old??? Haven’t sailed Princess but looking forward to our Sun Princess cruise in July. I have underwear that old.

They will get it done and you will have a great experience in YC. I can’t wait to get back on MSC. Loved the lounge and restaurant. Butlers are very good and some even better. Stay warm in Dallas. Northeast Texas is frigid for the next couple of days.

At least you won’t have far to drive. I live in Northeast Texas. Easy drive

Did you ask if you could transfer the deposit to another MSC ship? I have only sailed MSC 3 times in YC but I haven’t had a single bad experience. Was the charged 1/2 of your deposit or did you pay in full? Everyone has their opinion of all cruise lines. Maybe you should have taken the cruise and then decide for yourself.

My wife and I will be on the Sun Princess in July. We have sailed on many Carnival ships mainly when the kids were younger, HAL three times in the past two years and really enjoyed HAL, RCCL ( not impressed), NCL and Celebrity ( which we enjoyed). What does Princess do better than the lines I have sailed on? Anything that really sets Princess apart? We will be in a mini suite cabana in the Reserve Class on the Sun Princess.
