  1. I've never heard of a waitlist and we also require an accessible cabin. We book pretty far in advance to get one. Are you past final payment date yet? If not, check right after final payment and see if one pops up. If it does, call Princess right away and make the request to change. We have a TA cruise from Rome to FLL booked on HAL. Princess didn't have any accessible Mini-Suites available, but we keep checking. Good luck!
  2. It is impossible for either of us. My wife has one leg that won't bend due to a stroke and I have neuropathy in my legs and feet. We both enjoy pool time. Not sure what the thought process was on these newer ships. At least we have other options.
  3. It appears from the pictures I have seen that there is no beach entry or built in steps with railing into any of the pools, only ladder type steps. I can see steps into the wading area on the main pool, but not into the actual plunge area. Is that correct or am I missing something?
  4. There is also a Sofitel attached to terminal 5 at LHR. Nice hotel and was convenient when AA was using T5. Unfortunately, AA now uses T3.
  5. Not according to my Southern Baptist Sunday School Teacher! The water that was turned into wine by Jesus, was alcohol free. 🤣
  6. I learned a lesson several years ago about jumping to conclusions. Ok maybe I've had to learn it a few times. There could have been something else going on or maybe not. Either way it is up to the cruise line to handle it properly. We were on a cruise years back when I spotted someone that I had worked with maybe 10 years earlier. I said, that looks like so and so, but neither of us were sure. I wanted to go over and say hi, but he was hanging out with this 20 y.o. something girl that was clearly not his wife. I saw him hanging out with her in the bars and dancing with her, and sometimes at dinner and a few times out at the pool. He had his arm around her, even when she was with her friends. He never acknowledged me, so we just kept to ourselves. When I got back to work, my boss asked how the cruise was. I said, it was great, but I thought I had seen this so and so onboard, but wasn't sure. To which he answered, it was him. His daughter is a dancer on the ship and he went to see her. The wife couldn't leave the business, so she is going in a couple of weeks. I am sure glad I kept my mouth shut!
  7. It is also dependent on flight times and restricted to certain airlines.
  8. Will they also do a burger medium rare if requested?
  9. Here is the link to our rollcall https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2995045-november-10-2024-seven-night-western-caribbean-from-galveston-regal-princess/#comment-67017005
  10. We are on the same cruise. We prefer aft, however we now have to do an accessible cabin and chose a mini midship. I will have to check on pricing. Thanks for posting.

  12. I Agee! 45 minutes to the airport, hour max. Should give ample time.
  13. I think you are on the same cruise as us, except a year earlier. Rome to FLL on the New Statendam? What ship are you on in February 2025?
  14. We also have done TA's both ways and prefer westbound for added hours and shorter flight home. As for the pills it has never been an issue for us to use small snack ziplocks for our meds and we take photos of each prescription and place the photo in each of the bags.
  15. That is what my wife uses at home and it is just fine. However on large ships that require a lot of walking we use our mobility scooters and stay midship.
  16. We will be on the Regal in November. From what I've read 10:30 to 12:00 is the worst. We too will park in the Express parking lot. The plan for us, is to drop off our luggage with the porters about 11:30, drive next door to the Express parking and ride our scooters back to check-in. Hopefully our stateroom will be available. Then head to the MDR for lunch. On the parking, did you go online and reserve it yet? If not you probably want to do that. FYI, check the port schedule for departure and arrival. Ours are pier 28 for both. Recently however, somebody posted that they left from 28 but disembarked at 25. Disney sometimes operates out of 28 which is next to the express lot.
  17. Our November cruise on the Regal in a Mini didn't change. However, the Premier package is now less money than the Plus. Leads me to believe they are still monkeying with the numbers.
  18. I don't get it. I thought Crab Shack is a casual dining venue on other ships and covered under Plus and Premier packages? Are you saying as a pop up venue on Regal it isn't covered? It's the same exact menu!
  19. You can either down load the app and do it there or simply scroll down on the Cruise Personalizer page and choose to do the web version instead of the app. I find the web version is easier to manage.
  20. We went with Premier package, since my DW usually drinks Champagne and that is covered with Premier. I also like some of the reds that are on both packages, so I figured I can try some different wines from different regions than what I normally drink. I like more of a full body wine. I also loathe signing chits.
  21. Looks like a great location. Mid ship, close to mid ship elevators. It does have white space across the hall, but impossible to tell if there are crew doors near you. I will say however, we have been next to crew doors on other ships and it was never an issue.
  22. I had a similar experience with customer service line. Had to ask them several times to repeat what they were saying. Ultimately, I was told that my booking could not be re-fared. Same happened on chat. Finally got a CVP and he got it all sorted out.
