  1. Yep! We had the same thing on our Ovation cruise. We were in suite 550 and the entire area between our suite and the staircase was blanked off.
  2. We are booked in a V1 accessible suite 550 on our TA crossing next year. SB is offering a two category upgrade to a V3 accessible suite of either 664 or 665. We are familiar with suite 550 having just had that suite on our last cruise. We are trying to compare to decide whether to take the upgrade or not. Thanks in advance!
  3. What a pain to have to check in at the old terminal and then be bussed to Fusina and back post cruise. Venice is lovely! Enjoy your trip!
  4. Are you doing Seabourn Air with transfers?
  5. Probably so, if the deposit was 15% or less of the full fare. I have never had a problem transferring a booking to a different date with Seabourn, but I'm not from the UK. Check with your TA.
  6. There is only a USB-A on each side on the older ships. The nearest place to plug in a CPAP is at the bar, but that power point is European so you would need a converter. The closest NA power point is at the dressing table.
  7. My only experience with President's cruises was our 70th Anniversary of D-Day cruise on Azamara. The cruise was wonderful, but what wasn't pleasant was Larry Pimental being on board. The normally jovial staff was on pins and needles the entire cruise.
  8. Guess i am out of practice with multi quotes. I was going to say that only the Ovation and Encore have both on each side of the bed as well as USB ports. However, the handicap accessible suites do not have USB ports next to the bed. There is a red emergency button in it's place. Which we found out the hard way, when I plugged in my USB adapter into the outlet next to it, which was large enough to push in the button. I was startled when the medical response team was suddenly in our room.
  9. Sorry for the double post. Found this for the UK For bookings made in the United Kingdom, Gibraltar, Ireland, Guernsey, Jersey and Isle of Man, submit written cancellations to Seabourn, 100 Harbour Parade, Southampton.SO15 1ST or ENQUIRIES@seabourn.co.uk.
  10. This is what it is in USA. It may be different in the UK. Cruises 25 Days Or Less: Days Prior to Departure Cancellation Fee 120-91 days 15% of full fare 90-46 days 50% of full fare 45-31 days 75% of full fare 30 days or less, or non-appearance 100% of full fare Cruises Of 26 Days Or More: Days Prior to Departure Cancellation Fee 150-121 days 15% of full fare 120-91 days 50% of full fare 90-76 days 75% of full fare
  11. We had a substantial drop in price on our spring cruise. We saw it a month before final payment. Our TA called them and we got the price reduction. I checked again before final payment and it was even higher than when originally booked and went even higher after final booking.
  12. Because of mobility issues, we can't do the straight up ladders. I know the main pool has both, but just wondering if the aft pool has both.
  13. Man, I am hungry after reading all this!😁 We will be on the Ovation next week and can't wait. My wife loves the Dover Sole at TK. Seabourn has the best burgers at sea at the Pool Grill. I too, love the Rib Eye at TK with Bernaise on the side.
  14. Wow! This is disappointing, but I think it has been coming to this for awhile. Our last SB cruise that went to Venice we docked at San Basilio. Our favorite, was sailing the Lagoon past St. Marks Square at sunset on the Ruby Princess on our 40th Anniversary while listening to Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman singing "Time To Say Goodbye".
  15. We will be on the Ovation next week and are in 550, which is an accessible cabin. IMO, I would not want to be in any cabin that is toward the bow on that deck, because of motion and noise. I think any of the others would be fine choices and then just a matter of whether you have a preference of port or starboard.
  16. Thanks Jon, that was very helpful. I just googled it and it is a pdf form to fill out. It is called Special Request Information Form. Simple to fill out and email to access@seabourn.com.
  17. We have reached out to a private driver (Terrvette Tours and Taxi Service) for travel from the airport to the Hilton and from the Hilton to the port. We have special needs with two mobility scooters and are hoping they can accommodate us.
  18. Hello Richard, Jeff and Kathy, Mark and Linda. We are on the same 3/30 cruise with you. We just got our time assigned yesterday and it says 1:40pm. I think our check-out time at the Hilton is 11:00am so hopefully we will be able to board earlier. See everyone onboard.
  19. I think I read somewhere that you can ask your stateroom steward for some. I looked to see if there was a place online to order and didn't find one.
  20. I found a video and it appears to have both and what looks like to me to also have a usb charging port.
