Email sent out yesterday to say this one and the one following it (HK round trip) have been cancelled as we were on the back to back. They are putting some alternatives on that avoid Chinese ports but we really wanted to visit HK before it completely loses everything that made it different to the mainland. I'm glad we aren't the only ones 😂😂 Scooby comes on all our holidays and our room steward on our first Regent cruise used to leave him in some unusual positions 😜

We are also 21 (plus 39) and whilst not too bothered about the night life we do like active daytimes. Our upcoming Caribbean cruise has us doing horse riding, kayaking, hiking in the rain forest, river tubing, ATV riding. There was also an America's cup excursion and zip lining on offer. My husband likes to take his mountain bike on our cruises so he can do a quick 40 or 50 km ride before lunch but not this time 😂😂 we always look for the excursions with at least 2 (moderate) but preferably 3 (strenuous) walking people on each trip description.

No - that is definitely an open neck shirt with no bow tie 😜 her LBD is very smart though. That glass of champagne looks particularly welcoming 😂😂 My OH is taking a linen jacket but we are back before Christmas and no formal nights on the itinerary. Hope you have a fab cruise.

We are doing the Caribbean on Navigator so no pre cruise but a night in Miami (if passport control aren't on strike and we get there🤞🏻🤞🏻 😜) and yes it will be lovely to be back onboard again 😁

We should all thank whichever deity we worship that despite some of the difficulties we are all experiencing and the very minor blips which those of us fortunate enough to cruise on a Regent ship might experience, there are people in this world who are fighting for their freedom 💕💕💕💕💕 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

Ours arrived for our Navigator cruise direct from Regent before I checked us in so might be worth a check with your TA so they can chase Regent 😁

I checked in using the iPad (easier to upload a photo) and they sent us an email with our boarding passes so I printed that off. You can access everything you completed for checkin on your Regent account if you want to print anything else off.

GP51 I am with you re maps - I have to hold a map so it is facing the way I am going as I am directionally 'dyslexic'. I remember we were going to London for a wedding many moons ago (their daughter has just married) and I am telling my husband in an increasingly loud and panicked voice that he needed to be in the right hand lane for our exit whilst pointing left (the way we needed to go). - you can imagine how cheerful he was as we sailed past our exit and had to travel several miles down the motorway to be able to turn around then arrived at the wedding after the bride 😂😂😱

Engerland (i.e. England) used by the footie fans mostly. The advantage of 'Engerland' as opposed to 'England' is the extra syllable 'ger' allowing the chanting of the team's name being easier and more melodic. So not profane 😂😂😂

I think the Lisbon/Miami leg sounds much nicer than the other way as the clock goes back so more time in bed and warmer temps 😂😂

It's the only downside to cruising and usually I only lose the odd day to it. Our last two cruises were on the Danube then Rhine rivers and no issues but going back to the ocean fully prepared. As a child, falling asleep when travelling was my default to avoid carsickness and I still try to sleep even now as an adult (not when driving of course 😜😜). So far have found the cinnarizine goes very well with a glass of Monopole Blue Top 😂😂

Thank you Kwaj girl - I will be their best customer 😂😂 I take cinnarizine twice per day anyway, have the acupressure wrist bands and use Kwells which is Hyoscine in moments of desperation so might try the Meclizine instead if it is better

Those are very similar to some of the French toilets in the ski resorts (but definitely cleaner) Not the easiest things for a woman to use when wearing salopettes and ski boots 😂😂
