  1. Let the fun and games being. Our SIL and DD picked us up and drove us to the hotel near Dulles where we always stay when we have morning flights. We checked in around 7:45 PM and after droppin our gear off in the room, met them in the dining area for dinner. Everyone had their usual. French Onion Soup for the ladies. My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich and our daughter had grilled salmon with asian sauce. My SIL and both had Long Island Ice Teas, not driving like him so I had two, and we both had Marriott Burgers (a bacon cheese burger for those that are not familiar). After dinner, they left to drive an hour and a half home and we came up to our room to get ready to call it a night. No food porn for tonight, but I promise some for tomorrow. Those of you that find yoursleves looking for a hotel near Washington Dulles, I can highly recommend this hotel. And on that note, I will wish you all a good night and safe journeys wherever your travels may take you.
  2. Yes, Cafe Al Bacio is on all S and M Class ships. My favorite place to grab a coffee with Bailey's or an Aspen. Also do not hesitate to try their almond croissants and lemon tarts pastries are free. I found them both addictive.
  3. Same here but OP seems to be going through an airline website vice a travel agent.
  4. That is your choice but just be aware that you may run into issues linking the cruises through the 3rd party if you do it any way other than how they say to do it. Not saying it cannot be done, just saying they may have that rule in place for a reason.
  5. We received ours yesterday for our sailing on Saturday. So I would say 72 hours in advance of sailing.
  6. In my opinion, none. Once the reservations are booked, you can link them on the Royal Caribbean Website. However, if I were in your situation, I would call because once you book through the 3rd party, you will need to go through them for any / all changes or questions regarding your reservation.
  7. This is our first cruise on Harmony as well. Have sailed Oasis, Alure, and Quantum in the past.
  8. If you do not see pictures of any these or any other places you're interested in by the middle of next week, say something. I have a tendance to hang out in the same areas aboard ship and will need to add those two to my list. Have been considering having breakfast or lunch in the Solarium Bistro but had not considered visiting Sabor, except for maybe a drink at the bar.
  9. My normal review includes pictures of: Hotel rooms Cabin onboard Food we have for most of our meals, I tend to skip normal things like bacon and eggs, burgers and fries, but occasionally make exceptions. interesting things we aboard the ship and ashore Anything else you would like to see picture of in particular?
  10. We like gambling on the non-smoking side. Yes, there is still a bit of smoke odor in the air but it is not as bad as having someon's smoke coming directly in your face. One of our favorite things about Celebrity is that their casino's have been smoke free for years.
  11. I had one booking, since the COVID restart, that was made after final payment that did not book as an all inclusive and I paid for drinks, wifi, etc.
  12. Why is it so hard to simply folllow the rules instead of encouraging others with ways to possibly get around them? The daughter is underage in the US and could be, although highly unlikely, cited for minor possession. Just bring your two bottles in your carry on baggage and be happy with that.
  13. The cocktail hour hor d'ourves in the Diamond Club lounge is just temporarily being relocated here due to the construction. What they did away with was having to be in the lounge to get free drinks. Now you can get your drinks at most bars and the dining rooms as well as the Diamond Clube Lounge using the vouchers.
  14. We are booked in a Grand Suite and will be dining in the Coastal Kitchen most meals. Have made pre-cruise reservations for lunch at Jamie's, Lunch at Chop's, and dinner at 150 Central Park. Also I am sure we will make at least one, if not two trips for lunch to Izumi. We have made reservations for Columbus, A Journey in Time, The Fine Line, and Greese. Additionally, we have requested the Concierge make us reservations at the Comedy Club but do not see it in my daily planner yet. We have been to Aruba and Curacao many times so have only booked one shore excursion, Picture Aruba.
  15. We will be sailing on this cruise and it is my intention to post our experiences here during the course of our travels. We are finishing our final packing now and our SIL and DD will be picking us up and taking us to Washington Dulles Marriott Suites where we will spend the night before taking the airport shuttle to the airport tomorrow morning. We have an 0841 non-stop flight from IAD to FLL tomorrow morning and will be staying at the Renaissance Fort Lauderdale Marina Hotel, which is out normal pre-cruise hotel for Port Everglades.
  16. I believe the distance is closer to 30 feet than 3 feet. My car's BT picks up my iPhone even though it's 20 feet or more if I leave my phone in the house and go to drive somewhere closeby. The distances really depends on the signal strength -- high powered transmitter and high gain antenna, the 'standard' distances can be easily extended.
  17. Received exactly the same letter. As @firefly333 that is the standard email they send everyone who made a bit that was not accepted. We do not have any expectation that we will receive the upgrade we requested.
  18. Based on other post, no. I stand corrected. It's all confusing to me and I'll just wait and see what shakes out between now and April when we cruise.
  19. I disagree, it would not be "so easy to grandfather anyone in" .. full disclosure I think the way Celebrity did this was wrong, they should have given more notice so passengers would still be outside of the mandatory final payment date giving them time to make a decision on whether they still wanted to cruise or not. That being said, since not everyone books a cruise at the same time, some people do it up to two years in advance and others wait and grab a cruise in the last month/week before the ship sails. How would they know who booked wne with regard to dining services? How would they differentiate someone who book a year or more in advance, and would be "grandfathered", and someone who booked last month? Not a "simple IT fix". Full disclosure -- I do not have a 'dog in this hunt' I am booked in a suite for our next cruise.
  20. Yes, but the symptoms and possible remedies are the same for OP's issue. Lots of water, walking and raising your legs above the level of your head when resting works well for me and apparently others as well.
  21. Maybe we will run into you onboard. We embark Saturday (2/18) but only doing the 8-day leg. Will try and make a point of stopping by the Diamond Lounge. Due to it's location and our usual onboard activities, we only stopped in once on our last cruise and that was when we were coming back from being ashore and had to use the forward gangway.
  22. Glad to see I am not sailing on any of the ships you are ending your cruises on. We had a small group of folks who were not expeditious in leaving the ship on our last B2B and it created a delay in us B2B cruisers boarding, which in turned created a ripple effect and a very large crowd waiting to board in the terminal. We've never been on board beyond 9 AM even when we try to take our time.
  23. I follow a slightly different number sequence == 5-9 10-14 17-21 22-26 29-33 Sometimes when I am just having fun drinking and talking I'll bet the edge of the board for three six numbers across by placing a chip on the left hand corner of 4-7 10-13 16-19 22-25 28-31 You win less but you have only 7 or 8 (with double 0 wheel) numbers that you can miss on. When I get up using either of these strategies, I place a bet on 0/00 for a few spins. Last time on Silhouette, I hit 0 three times in a two hour session. Gave it all back the next night when 0 never hit once for me.
