  1. We both prefer the dark variety. We really enjoyed this coffee. We purchased it at the gift store at the plantation we toured. These two photo's are an indication of how close the side of the ship comes to the walls of the locks Even with the mules, I am surprised there are not more instances of ships brushing against the sides.
  2. You should have saved the ones from your United Polaris kit. I find them very comfortable. I plan to keep mine for use on the cruise, if needed. Not many sea days.
  3. i am not allergic but no mango in my margherita either. i like mine with lime and either with or without the spice.
  4. My DW had covered the one on Reflection with the bath mat but that just hid it from me and i managed to step right on the thing as I got out of the shower. I late hit my toe on it going to the bathroom early one morning. I found that I had to be very careful getting out of the shower / tub as it seemed to be exactly where I want to plant my foot.
  5. I am very familiar with Decoy and have had it many times on Celebrity. I was just commenting about it not appearing on the wine list for Luminae. I am positive that if I order it I will receive it. Our cruise sails Wednesday 5/2, that's not that "so far out."
  6. @mahdnc If it's not too late, make sure you stock up on coffee in Costa Rica. I still believe they have the best coffee beans in the world.
  7. Butter chicken healthy - what ever were they thinking. 🤣
  8. Keep checking the link in the message you quoted. It gets updated the closer you get to your cruise. However, you should plan on being at the Itsukaichi dock since that is where Millennium is shown as docking on all her cruises to Hiroshima.
  9. A spicy margherita .. I love them. The rim is usually a Tajin seasoning. Some mix the seasoning with sea salt, although there is sea salt already in the seasoning.
  10. This has worked well for me in the past and I plan to take a similar approach this time around. Just find it strange that the menu on the app is showing so few choices for Luminae.
  11. Decoy is not on the Luminae wine list. Castle Rock Pinto Noit $17; Cune Crianza $19; Conundrum Red Blend $19; Opulance Grchich Hills Carbernet Sauvignon $25 are the only ones showing. Blu is doing better with two $17 wines -- Alta Vista Malbec and Benziger Merlot. i am counting on it. I noticed that almost all of the wines that I had in Luminae on our cruise last year, e.g. Cherry Tart, Conundrum, Elegance have all been priced at $19. The only one that was moved back into the DBP was the Decoy. Oh well, it's going to be a challenge for the Sommelier for sure.
  12. There are fixed choices. You might be able to substitute but I was not able to. Asked for Kettle One and received Belvedere.
  13. Looking at the menu's for Luminae for our upcoming sailing on Millennium and am rather disappointed at what is being shown on the menu in the app. According to the app there are four red wines on the menu, of which only one is available without and up charge. Two of the remaining three are wines I had on the DBP on our last cruise but are now $19. The fourth is the Opulance with is now showing as $25 a glass. I was hoping, based on the Webinar with Laura I was hoping for a larger / better selection of wines. Then again this could just be another failure of Celebrity IT to keep information update.
  14. To me it is more famous for the toe breaking door stop right where you step out of the shower. In a perfect world, they would re-hang every door from the bed room into the bathroom to open away from the shower/tub and remove that damn door stop. I either stub my toe on it or step on the damn thing getting out of the shower. I always ask them to serve it as a salad and get either the steak frites or seared bronzino as my main.
  15. Remind me to NEVER order a New Fashioned on RCCL. My version is made with good rum, orange slice, cherry's, and simple syrup.
  16. The stock closed at $140.59, up $3.12 a share today. Loving all those shares I purchased in 2020 as the priced dropped due to ships not being allowed to sail. At least I can say something good came from the pandemic.
  17. There is a great view from up there and it was a couple of people deep. To get a clear view I spent a lot of time standing on the edge of the pool on the Retreat Deck taking pictures, a lot of them in my live review were taken from there. However, Marcia probably had the best view as the bridge camera showed wonderful scenes according to my DW who also decided to not brave the sun and crowds and watched from our balcony and in the room.
  18. We found the entertainment in the TSL to our liking so spent quiet evenings there. I did attend some main theater shows but was not really impressed, even with one other said was good.
  19. We are in this cabin but on Millennium starting next week. On our last cruise, the guest in 6145 gave us a tour so we could see what it was like, but the tour was in the evening so did not see that there was only a door and no window as the side of the door like a normal balcony. Not sure that will matter to us as we spend more time on the balcony than sitting in the room looking out, weather permitting.
  20. i cannot take all the credit. A cruiser on the Royal Caribbean Boards put together a huge list of drinks, including beers and a couple of them on a particular cruise were checking off the drinks as they had them. A few of us contributed recommendations for additions to the list and it just started growing. A one point, I created a spreadsheet that had all of them on it but have since lost track of that file. I also may have a screen shot of the working list from a cruise two years ago that tracked the number of each drink that had been consumed.
  21. My DW also prefers shorter excursions but likes later departures. She, unlike me, is not a morning person. We are signed up for one 10 hour excursion on our upcoming cruise, which involved a hour and 45 minute bus ride each way (from Kobe to Kyoto and back). The rest or 4.5 hours or less, the way we like them.
  22. It is any two devices simultaneously - for example, your phone and your husbands phone, then you could disconnect your phone and connect your laptop or he could have his phone and his laptop -- it does not matter what device it is, just that only two can be connected at any given time.
  23. This is going to be 100% dependent upon who your neighbors are. I would assume any musicians on the cruise would be rehearsing in the theater versus in their room. To do rehearsals in their room would simply be bad manners. p.s. We'll be traveling in that same suite next month.
  24. I make my own at home. Our DD and SIL gave me a smoking kit for birthday this year. I make smoked old fashioned with both Woodford and Zacapa here at the house. They are really good. I failed to obtain a smoked drink on our last sailing as it was on Millennium which does not have the WCB. I am going to ask again when we board next week. Maybe at Cellar Masters they might have something.
