  1. Each time we have sailed in the Havana area we have had a deck 5 cabana, and I love them! I like the convienence of sitting on my “patio” as I call it, and if I get hot I get up, walk out my gate & to the pool area. Forgot my towel? No problem, walk back to my “patio” dripping wet and don’t feel guilty about dripping in a public area/elevator, just walk into my room and grab a towel. Need to potty while in the outside area? Forget public restrooms, just wander back to my own cabin via the patio and use my own. I really, really love it! You’re so welcome! Thanks for coming along!
  2. We finished dinner at 9, and although we all wanted to do something…we were crashing. So, we said good night. I came back to the cabin and gathered my stocking stuffers and delivered them, then came back and took a shower. I’d say all in all, today was a success! Tomorrow is a fun, relaxing day at sea!
  3. We hung out at Alchemy for one drink (just one? That’s a record for me and Chris!!) then headed to dinner at about 7. The menu tonight was YUMMY! I got the crawfish strudel, which had some spice but was DELICIOUS, and the BBQ salmon, which was moist and very good. The chocolate melting cake for dessert was good and melty, but I think my tastebuds are changing…it was too sweet. I can’t believe I just said that…am I sick?!
  4. We spent all afternoon after lunch lounging in the Havana pool and hot tubs. I will say, the hot tubs are HOT…I’m a cold blooded person and I could only stay in them for short jaunts at a time before I had to cool off in the pool. After sailaway, I headed back to the cabin to unpack and get the stocking stuffer exchange stuff put together. That took until about 6:30, and we met “the family” at Alchemy for a drink. On the way there, I admired all the pretty Christmas decorations.
  5. Yay, so my math is correct! 😁 You will LOVE the Havana area! This is our fourth time in it, and the private pool area is just so nice! Thank you Beth!! Thank you. 😊
  6. Lunch from the deli. Forgot a pic of the Buffalo chicken sammich, but it was good! Love this menu as opposed to MG/Celebration. Funfetti cheesecake was ok. Not worth all the hype, but good. Chris wanted a nap…buttttt as you can see, the bed is taken over by stuff. I’ll eventually unpack and put it away. Bahaha.
  7. For those asking for pics of the awful outfit, here ya go. Just know that the pic doesn’t do the glitter effect justice….and it’s on a plus size person. It’s obnoxious!
  8. Checked in, waiting to board. Parked at the port for the first time (at least in Miami), it was easy peasy lemon squeezey.
  9. We made it to the hotel at 3:39, and the room is nice and clean and I will stay here again! The shower was awesome. I’ll take pics of everything tomorrow morning before we leave, I forgot to when we arrived…I was tired. We had dinner at a place called Flannigan’s, close by the hotel. The blackened fish tacos were delish!
  10. Thanks! So far the drive has been uneventful, hopefully it stays that way!
  11. 2:58 am: after a few tears saying goodbye to Furry Vampire, we left the camper. 3:13 am: after a battle with the Auss (“don’t jump on me! Leave it!”) we left Rotten Rotties, aka GrandmaPeasant’s, where she’s spending the week…and we are on our way!!
  12. All packed and ready to go! Just gotta get thru this last workday before vacation...at 5:30, it's ON!!!!!
  13. Good info, thank you! Chris likes to people watch, so he will probably love it.
  14. We have a Havana aft wrap for a cruise on the Vista in 2026...I can't wait for that!! I love aft wraps, but am wondering how I will feel about the Havana pool deck being below me....I kind of like the convenience of being on the same deck as the pool area.
  15. Making packing progress!! Chris says it won’t all fit…I say, challenge accepted!!
  16. Pulled out the suitcase to begin packing, walked away to get items, and Divya decided to “help” me. I guess she wants me to take her favorite toy along to remember her by. I do miss her and the furry vampire when we are away.
  17. At the moment, there isn’t a CCL ship I’m aching to book. As you can see in my sig, I’m pretty booked up, and all the ones I’m curious to sail on (Legend & Spirit to finish out the Spirit class) are there. The ship I want to book really bad is actually an MSC one, the Divina. The name is similar to my dog, and I’m a sucker for things like that. Hence why I had to sail Glory, she’s got the same name as my first horse. Like I said…I’m a sucker. 😂
