  1. What you want will cause a "cancellation, and re-booking." You need to contact NCL or TA to make the change... which might end-up costing more.
  2. What you would gain is approximately 80 SF of space, much of which, is in the bathroom.
  3. It might have been delayed due to COVID? I agree that the timeline seems off.
  4. I came back to tell how to edit a post... The three dots in the upper right hand corner of every post will allow you some options if you click on that. (You'll need to give a reason for your edit.) I hope this was helpful!
  5. Here's an article that might be of interest to you. https://familydestinationsguide.com/fun-things-to-do-in-aruba-with-kids/
  6. Since drydocks are every five years, and Escape was last drydocked 2022, it should drydock again in September(?) 2027.
  7. My husband just reminded me that you could also "book" tender tickets at kiosk screens, or possibly on your room TV.
  8. That information should be posted in Freestyle Daily onboard the ship. I cannot say for certain for your cruise, because I don't have enough info. ...some ships can do things differently based on many factors.
  9. If you are in a Haven/Suite, you receive priority (will be escorted to disembark). Certain Latitudes levels receive higher priority. If none of that applies to you, you have to seek out a tender ticket, and/or wait until the others have left the ship.
  10. It seems that some self-responsibility was sadly lacking during OP's cruise. 1) Did OP and spouse fly to cruise embarkation location, and stay at a hotel/hostel, etc., where they might have actually picked-up whatever ailed them? 2) OP and spouse could have asked to have bed(s) made-up so fan was NOT blowing on their faces. 3) Why not turn-off the A/C so the air was not blowing on their faces all night?
  11. I just checked NCL's descriptions for both Family Club Balcony and Family Balcony on multiple decks. In each case, it seems that all have "double sofa bed."
  12. You might feel that was a "dramatic" post. However, @www3traveler and others have been posting results that NCL security teams have utilized.
  13. Although DH and I have walked many miles (either direction) from the cruise port, I would not say that there are any nice beach bars, within a mile walk, that fit your description of likes. Also, there simply is not much shade available during the walking. I always carry a large umbrella for "shade" during our walks. (Which also comes in handy for pop-up showers that are known to happen.
  14. NCL does NOT allow the opening of the balcony dividers!
  15. From your post I cannot tell if you had read this page (link): https://www.ncl.com/group-cruises And/or, did you call 855.625.4768 to speak with a group consultant? It is my understanding that they offer different perks, based on the number of rooms and total number of guests participating (with 5 rooms being the minimum).
  16. If there is no coffee set-up, ask your room steward to provide you with one.
  17. Mind over matter, friend. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter! 😉
  18. I found the following info (be sure to log into your account and look for Future Cruise Credit listed there)! "Guests on that cruise were also given a $100 non-refundable credit to spend onboard the ship along with a 20% discount on a future cruise booked before 31st December 2025."
  19. Ship crew members often recommend chewing some ginger, &/or, eat a green apple. Sea-bands are a good choice, and work well, as long as they are placed properly.
  20. Texas Spring Break (grade school thru high school) will be March 17-21, 2025! Rodeo Houston operates from March 4-23, 2023 (This huge event captures a lot of school age families during Spring Break.)
  21. I clipped this from the 2nd page of one of our reservations "Confirmation Guest Copy": "Please refer to www.ncl.com/about/cancellation-fee-schedule for our Payment and Cancellation policy. Norwegian Cruise Line highly recommends that every guest purchase some form of travel protection. For your convenience, we offer an optional BookSafe Travel Protection, however similar plans are available through other sources. To review the state-specific (based on your state of residence) terms, conditions, and exclusions with BookSafe visit www.ncl.com/freestyle-cruise/booksafe. For questions regarding your BookSafe Travel Protection, please call 1-800-722-5672."
  22. Thank you for your recommendation!
  23. You should easily find where their pick-up area is. There might be a line waiting for the next "bike" to return.
  24. @STLCARDS82 Please provide more information regarding your warning! What dangers, mishaps, etc...
  25. This might not work for you, but I found this... https://www.welcomepickups.com/puerto-plata/taxi/
