  1. Made it home on time on Allegiant last night , actually got home an 1/2 hour earlier then the scheduled time. A quick 1 hour and 20 minute flight home. Great to be back home again. 🙂 Also was great to see the Philadelphia Eagles win and going to the Super Bowl , next up Andy Reid's Kansas City Chiefs in 2 weeks.
  2. Starting to feel much better, heading to the airport in a couple hours for our flight home to Roanoke. We have about an hour drive from Bradenton to the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Airport (PIE), first to return the car rental and then in to check our bags and go through security. Hoping to be able to watch the NFL NFC Championship game with the Eagles against the 49ers which starts at 3pm. We board around 6:30pm.
  3. Still feeling crappy, made our way over to Bradenton now. Staying at Aunt and Uncles house tonight and tomorrow night. Can't wait to fly home on Sunday Night.
  4. No matter if you like to fly or not I much rather get there as fast as I can and have my 2 feet on the ground then be stuck in an airplane longer then I have to be in one.
  5. So far so good for her. . This large room with the extra bedrooms makes it nice. Figuring now this may have been food poisoning rather then just the a flu bug. Since she has been okay. We did however go to Home Goods and Publix to today to get My Wife's Aunt and Uncle a house warming gift for their house in Bradenton, FL. We check out of here tomorrow morning and make the 2 hours drive to their house. We have to get down there eventually because we fly from St.Pete/ Clearwater(PIE) Airport on the 29th to Roanoke,VA Airport. Had a frozen Boston Market Chicken Pot Pie for lunch and my Wife is going to make Spaghetti for dinner. We are not going anywhere tonight, , it's crazy cold here . The low is supposed to be 45 degrees.
  6. This is why we can't move to Florida to live. Back in Virginia a 2 liter bottle of coke is .99 cents, not here in Florida.
  7. Right from the Owner, His lowest prices are if you book within 60 days and if there is still space available. We originally had a 1 Bedroom, then at the 60 day mark he said some 2 bedrooms were available for only $50 bucks more so we took that. ( check in 20th , check out was the 26th, so technically we had 2 rooms last night.) Then when I ran into this sickness problem I emailed him and asked what it would cost to extend our stay 1 more day in our original room. He said no 2 bedrooms were available but he could get us a 3 bedroom for $225 total , so we took up that offer rather then try to find another hotel in the area. Catch is though it has to be a 2 day stay(25th check in, check out 27th to get the 3 bedroom , but didn't matter to us since it still only cost $225. I knew we weren't going to find a place as large as this 3 bedroom for that price anywhere else in Disney at such short notice.
  8. Been a rough last 24 hours. I became ill after going to Joe's Crab Shack or after we got some food at Epcot in France. Got back to our room around 10pm and my stomach started to hurt. Diarrhea was first and then throwing up alot. This was from about 10pm to 4am. So next day was out for the parks, very tired and dehydrated. We were suppose to check out of our room on the 26th. But the owner who we got this room through was able to get us a 3 bedroom deluxe from the 25th to checking out on the 27th...Giving me an extra day to feel better before heading to Bradenton to stay with them The 3 bedroom unit is really nice,we are in Building 5 now next to the lazy river. We made the switch in rooms for only $225 total. So thought it was well worth it to give me an extra day to feel better. First 4 days in the park. We walked 28 miles.. We might try to go to the parks today if I'm feeling up to it. Here are some pics of the 3 bedroom.
  9. Anyone know if we can park our car over at Boardwalk and walk in to Epcot from there. We aren't staying on property? Is there a work around?
  10. You were correct, when walking out of Joe's and walking over to Publix for some wine we saw the water tower. We usually go to the Joe's down by Texas Roadhouse and Orange Lake. First time ever to the Joe's by the water tower.
  11. FireWorks tonight from Magic Kingdom. We always stand behind the castle so we can see the large fireworks that go up from far behind the castle.
  12. It's one of my favorite shows to see. Unlike the rides that don't hardly ever change the Hall of Presidents changes everytime a new President is elected. Yes,even President Biden is now there. Not sure or not if you can enlarge pictures or not.
  13. Not sure how they didn't get Bonnet Creek, since it's such a large area...Missed a great location really close to the parks.
  14. Yes,washer and dryer....2 bedroom, full kitchen. We did some wash this morning. Didn't get to Magic Kingdom to around 2pm.
