  2. We use the below night lights in the cabin bathroom. They work great!
  3. We will try Uber. If that is not available at the time, we will use the bus shuttle that is down the street from the water shuttle port. In the past, the bus shuttle was $3 pp (???) round trip and it drops you off at Whaler's Village in Kaanapali. The buses run every 20 min's or so.
  4. We will be traveling with our 9 yr old granddaughter and her parents 😄. We are planning on going to Kaanapali so our granddaughter can use the beach. If she is having a great time, we will stay there later and return to the water shuttle dock right before last call. They will not leave you behind if you arrive before their "last shuttle" time.
  5. When flying out of the U.S. we always fly Business Class. We have not found any fares that beat EZ Air fares. And the difference in fares is usually at least $1,000 pp+. We have saved LOTS of $ using EZ Air!
  6. I was hoping that their updating the docking marina last year would have helped this long standing issue with the water shuttles. We are on the July 6th Emerald Hawaii sailing and will plan accordingly.
  7. W also dislike these lights and they are being placed fleet wide. We always travel with a small roll of black electrical tape. This works great to cover the sensors.
  8. We were recently on the Sapphire for 32 days. We had a set table in the Savoy MDR. We loved the venue and had great restaurant managers, Boris and Asif.

  10. Press release came out last week. Below is the thread on this topic.
  11. We have sailed on the Emerald many times and is one of our favorite ships in the fleet. We will be on the Emerald's July 6th Hawaii sailing. Enjoy your cruise!
  12. Thank you for taking the time to keep us informed!
  13. For long trips we purchase new regular sized "My Pillows." They come rolled up in a vacuum sealed package. Once you open them, you place them in a clothes dryer for 10 minutes and they fluff up. And if we are flying, we leave them onboard. The store in question is very close to our home. Those cakes have kept the business alive!
  14. We were recently on the Sapphire and we did not care for the pillows. We always bring our own "My Pillows" on all of our trips/cruises. I must add that our travel companions loved their pillows. Everyone has different likes.
  15. And eliminating Harmony will put all of the same restaurants on the Royal class ships.

  17. Debbie thanks you, She bought it at a mall store in Toulon (France) this past November for 15 euros. She said she has seen similar bags in many "bag" stores.
  18. From the Carnival Corp Press Release: The new restaurant concept will be added aboard several other Princess ships including Majestic Princess (May 5) in time for its Alaska Season, Sky Princess (May 7) sailing from Southampton on Scandinavian and Baltic itineraries this summer and in the fall aboard Discovery Princess. Below is a link to a thread on the topic:
  19. That usually happens when you refare too. It's a pain as you have to contact Princess to reapply the OBC.
  20. Based on the below statement from the press release they want to make Deck 7 an Italian "town square." That might mean they would place a Sabatini's (which the Majestic does not currently have) where Ser Le Mer is currently and The Catch would go into the Harmony location??? The below statement did not specify that it was just for the Enchanted. More Enhancements Around the Piazza – Including Settimo CieloThe iconic Princess Piazza will now extend beyond stunning Italian architecture to deliver the aromas and experiences that are the hallmarks of a traditional Italian "town square." Deck Seven becomes Settimo Cielo, or seventh heaven, where guests will find an array of Italian eats including the Princess favorite Sabatini's Trattoria one of the most popular Princess specialty restaurants, Bellini's Venice-inspired cocktail bar and Gigi's Pizzeria by Alfredo.
  21. These dress code threads take on a life of their own! 😄
