  1. Just an update. Was on iots this week, during the captains q&a he explained that the call was a genuine call as we were the first ship in port and may have been the ones who made the discovery. It was then made clear that local authorities were dealing with it. As you could imagine this was a topic of conversation for the rest of the trip.
  2. NCAA tournament is on tbs and tnt so they can get those channels, unless the subscrib to international feeds which I would expect then still to have nhl playoffs
  3. Considering they are playing Tampa and odds are you are leaving from Florida it shouldn’t be an issue
  4. Look at some Disney sites. Many of the limo companies have car seats and will drive from Mco to port as well as Disney
  5. We chose Indy because Orlando and PC is an easier fight for us than Miami or fort Lauderdale that or if you have strong opinions on take out Mexican food or fish and chips
  6. Has anyone done this and the sushi and sake tasting. Really enjoyed the sushi class on Anthem but considering something different
  7. Thank you, I believe I saw blue lagoon has zoo accreditations ( I’m unsure of the process or legitimacy). its 2 of us on a kids free trip so quieter is better. I know my wife wants a chair to read a book and I may sit for a bit then hang in the water, nothing outrageous. It sounds like Junkanoo may be able to provide that. The flexibility is also important
  8. My parents reached Diamond after I turned 18 but I sailed with them prior to turning 18. I and subsequently my wife have achieved Diamond status due to my parents teaching Diamond. I have been on multiple cruises and never had an issue for me or my wife. We even went on a celebrity as Elite. i know there was a change in C&A in the mid 2000s? That closed that loophole
  9. Or do they have skip the counter like at the airport? I did everything online just want to walk to car and get it
  10. Hi all, I haven’t been to Nassau in 20 years so my first instinct was to book blue lagoon and get a private experience. I’m reading more about how much nicer the port is and I hesitate to commit a full day to blue lagoon or any other beach club. Am I really down grading my beach experience by going tojunkanoo for a few hours instead of a whole day at blue lagoon
  11. Do you get vouchers for disembark day? I mean even if it’s just a fresh juice with breakfast and a soda and water for the ride home
  12. This is why they made the change so people are not arguing about what time they drink went into the computer. Find a time when nearly everything is closed. I know I don’t want to look at my watch to determine if I have a free drink or not
  13. They did this with bar service lol i was always under the impression the second service wasn’t really a full service but just turn down. Turn your sheets out just a little, make a towel animal, chocolate and tomorrow compass on the pillow. This was truly one of the little Luxeries of cruiseing
  14. People think we are crazy for walking far distances with kids but is why. It’s easier to walk then car seats or dealing with them in a car without
  15. Hi with this Disney plus deal a possible DCL experience is something that we are considering. My kids 7,4,2 along with wife and myself are big Disney fans. While we don’t get to Wdw as much as I’d like we keep up on everything happening. The question is it is still more expensive than Royal Caribbean. I know that dcl has the Disney touches but e are also Diamond status on RCL ( and after our last cruise, got use to it lol). Is there enough on DCL to pay the premium.
