  1. It bothered Anne Marie as well. Keith
  2. You'll be able to reserved the group VR while on board. As mentioned, you can see the Head Sommelier after you board to find out date(s) for dinner/lunch.
  3. Hi again. My wife and I did private Vintage Room with NC and it was exactly as it was before. Several friends have also done the group vintage room lunches and dinners and they too are the way it was before with OC. Keith
  4. Four years ago while on Serenity in the Mediterranean. For some a bit difficult to walk. Keith
  5. As to the corkage fee, Well this is an interesting one; corkage fee. There actually had been one but sometimes charged and other times not but as of the other day it was no longer in place so no corkage fee. Keith
  6. Kate, they show up 60 days before in your account with the prices. Before then, as mentioned no prices. At 60 days you can also make specialty restaurant and spa reservations. Keith
  7. There are many other wines on board that you can purchase. There is an extensive list but it would be very time consuming and very challenging to photo. You could see if on board guest services might have it. Some of the wines on that list might not be available at the time of your sailing. Not sure if you ever do this nor where you are sailing but sometimes it's fun to either bring on board wine when you embark or pick up something local in port. But there will be lots of other choices for purchases on board. Keith
  8. Another view of Serenity a couple of years ago after debarking in Miami. Keith
  9. Just slightly over two years ago on-board Serenity from Nassau, Bahamas. Keith
  10. The difference is the work was done in a dry dock. So, depending on how extensive this is and where the casino will go it might require a dry dock. Time will tell. 😄 Keith
  11. Five years ago while sailing the Mediterranean. Keith
  12. Maybe it is Canada but in the USA one can most certainly get a policy to cover 100% of the cost less the premium for the policy. This is not something I normally do but with sound advice from our travel specialist I did for a specific cruise and had to use it. Yes, there were lots of forms to fill out and followup to some redundant questions but 100% of the money came back. Keith
  13. Adrian, great news. This is what a number of us are saying. In my case NC is like OC but even better with more things coming. Keith
  14. Roy, Bon Voyage. Enjoy every minute. Keith
  15. Dwight, as you say and Tommie could afford it. She was one of the ladies who at point was living on-board Serenity. A lovely person. Keith
  16. Ivi, you can make reservations 60 days prior to the cruise. You could have regular items at the sushi bar. Keith
  17. Yes as Vince notes this is certainly an outliner as very few people would have gotten money back from their CC company after the Exceptional Initiative program rolled out. As noted on the last few posts and for a few months for those who applied for the voucher Crystal checked verified with Moecker that the money you were requesting is what their records showed you being owed. In most cases what you requested is what you got. In some cases it turned out to be lower and even in some cases higher. And in some cases this process revealed incorrect information by Moecker. You had to have applied for the voucher by 8/1/23. You must have applied for the first sub-credit by or before 10/1/23 for the vouchers not to expire. You must use the sub-credits by booking a cruise(s) departing by or before 12/23/25. When Moecker does make the payouts for any unused sub-credits not applied (not applied is the key) Crystal will reduce the amount of any unused sub-credits) by the amount you got back from Moecker. Unused is sub-credits not applied; not cruises not yet sailed. So if you have applied all of your sub-credits but not yet sailed whatever you get back from Moecker will not impact the amount of those sub-credits. This information is contained on the Crystal Website at: https://www.crystalcruises.com/legal/exceptional-initiative-terms-and-conditions Keith
  18. Great news Roy. I have been following all of your posts and your blog. Keith
  19. And I want to put this on a separate post. I believe that most people (maybe all) who book a luxury cruise have an appreciation of luxury. But, we all have different interests and tastes. Take embarkation day. Anne Marie and I go to Waterside for lunch but some people want to go to the Trident Grill. That's great. We all have different favorites and interests. And that goes for everything. Never put down someone else because they don't see things as you do. Just know we are all different. Keith
  20. I do want to highlight that you will find Waterside will be open when occupancy is high and when you have sea days and on some port days. It was open on some of our port intensive cruises on Serenity on the first two voyages. Keith
  21. A DRYDOCK WITH A DIFFERENCE: EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH PHOTOGRAPHER MARK POWER A great read and terrific video on the Crystal website under stories. https://www.crystalcruises.com/story/crystal-seen-through-the-eyes-of-mark-power Keith
  22. Another view of Serenity. This time from August of 2023 in Cartagena, Spain. Keith
  23. Yes and the good new is it must be fixed now. 🤪 I just did two bookings for 2025 and they each reflect the Crystal Society Savings. Keith
