I just got off the Freedom, and our next cruise is on Constellation with that itinerary (I love Key West). Both options are fabulous. If you are taking kids, pick the Independence. If you want a relaxing cruise, choose Constellation. The service for both is perfect, but I love the small feel on Constellation. In fact, last year's Constellation cruise my my absolute favorite cruise ever!

I was able to upgrade pre-cruise for only one of the people in a cabin, by calling: Cruise Enhancement Department at: 1-800-722-5941. I was able to upgrade both my boyfriend and me in our cabin, and just my step-father (and not my mother) in their cabin. This was a couple of weeks ago.

This is good advice. It is what we did and had no problems upgrading me, but kept my husband with the classic package.

I love just walking through town and enjoying the people and the architecture. We usually walk to the southernmost point and take the obligatory pic. This next trip I plan on running early in the morning and taking in the sights.

I like to use the coupons later in the cruise once I have depleted our budget :eek:. I hold on to them like they are gold. Why? I'm weird that way.

Let us know about the parking. I'm curious to how efficient they are in getting us there and whether you feel safe in the parking lot. We are planning on doing off-site parking for our Freedom cruise in October. We want to save the big bucks for our onboard drinking, oops, I mean purchases.:D

I have no shame. I had to read this review just for the title alone :D

I got cancelled at work today - one of those things that happens occasionally in the summer, especially on holiday weekends. So, hopefully I will get a lot done today and tomorrow on this review. I am anxious to get it wrapped up so I can work on my photobook next! I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.

My DH says it is really quiet at the hospital he works at as well. It's probably the holiday. The good news is now we don't have to wait for your next post as long as we thought! :D

“It’s That Time of Day”

 

While we were eating lunch, we saw Kenny Chesney’s yacht go right past us, which was really neat to see. The pictures are below. I am not a country music fan, but I do like Kenny so it was cool for me to see. BTW—if you’re a KC fan, go listen to his new song “It’s That Time of Day.” We cruisers can relate! OH MY GOSH! I am the BIGGEST Kenny Chesney fan!!!!! If I would have seen that boat, I would have jumped in after him. My DH knows I'm leaving him as soon as Kenny calls:D

Thank you for sharing your experience. We love sailing Celebrity, but I won't do it with my kids. My youngest is autistic, and we need to make sure he has a good time too, so when we travel with the kids we usually do RC instead. My dh wanted to give Celebrity a try with the kids just once, but I wasn't comfortable with doing it, and your post has solidified it for me:).

I think I'd better go mow my lawn before the neighbors start complaining to the president of the homeowner's association. Oh wait, I'm the president, hmmmmmmm no I'd better set a good example and mow the lawn.

NO!!!!!!!! We have been trumped by the lawn?! I'm hurt. :D

Sherri, I am really enjoying your second "novel". Or should I say short story. :p I noticed you haven't finished reading "Explosive Eighteen" yet. Unless you finished reading it while on board the Freedom. You know her next book, "Notorious Nineteen" comes out on Nov. 20th. I really don't know how you get any reading done with all the writing you are doing to keep us glued to CC. BTW, when is your next adventure? Will be looking forward to it. I guess I will have to follow you on your blog.
