We loved the crew on FOS. It was by far one of our best experiences so far.

I always love it when the uninformed feel the need to offer their "expert" advise.
My wife has tried every "Migraine Prevention" diet published, and guess what?
THEY DON'T WORK FOR HER!

MIGRAINE
RESULTS OF TREATMENT BY KETOGENIC DIET IN FIFTY CASES
CLIFFORD J. BARBORKA, M.D.
JAMA. 1930;95(24):1825-1828. doi:10.1001/jama.1930.02720240035010.
So you are going to quote an 83 year old article that was published Dec. 13, 1930? And they studied a whopping 50 cases?
I think I will go with something a little more current, and a little more broad.
If ignorance is bliss, there are some very happy people here on Cruise Critic.
This is the best post ever! :D I'm a research junkie, so I did my own as well. I searched my university's database and found no single studies of migraine prevention and the ketogenic diet, so I also searched with just "diet". No conclusive studies to suggest a ketogenic diet prevents migraines. I learned something today!

Seriously though wonder why the attack rate is so much lower amongst crew, who are more tightly housed than passengers. Younger average age?
This would make a great research project. I am so on it!:D

You cannot beat the view in the Persian Garden on the Century. I love it!

We parked at the port this month while on the Constellation. I hated the whole thing, really. The traffic was heavy, and it was confusing where we had to drop off our luggage. I was really high strung that day :o

Thanks for your post, Gracie115. I found it useful information, and we have booked one of these cabins next year!

Still have 2 lifeboats on the water. Not sure what that is about.

Latest word from the captain is we are all fixed and leaving at 11pm. I have not run across anyone who is upset with the current situation. Everyone seems happy. I myself am thrilled we got an extra day in Key West.

No word yet. I wish they would let us disembark so we could see some more of Key West.

I just said to my dh that I wish we didn't have to leave, then 5 minutes later I learn we aren't. It's my fault.

We are leaving early, just in case. 7 is quite a large number to deal with.

I love sitting at the bar solving sudoku puzzles. The more I drink, the longer it takes me to solve them.

My favorite part of Sorrento's in the ambiance. I like the dark wood and pizzeria feel to it. The pizza is just something to do while you are in there :D

Thank you for posting this. I was undecided whether to do this, but I'm sure I can talk my DH into it. It looks like so much fun!

\It just seems like I should be able to get seafood in FL!! Am I spoiled because I'm from MA and there is always seafood there?
Yes, MA has far superior seafood than FL. This is my humble opinion :D

Cream of roasted garlic soup. It is soooooo good. :o

That is so cool!! We were on that sailing. You can almost see me :p

You can not get noro by inhalation.
You are correct. Noro is not airborne. In the hospital, contact precautions including gown and gloves are used to prevent the spread. It is important to note that you must be aware of droplet risk when someone is actively vomiting. Don't stand within a few feet of a puker. This has been a public service announcement from nurse Dawn :p

We just did a family promenade stateroom. The space was fabulous, but an extra bathroom would have been awesome. I would vote for 2 rooms.

I listen all year. People do tend to look at me funny :D

Just when you think every question under the sun has been asked, someone comes up with a fabulous one! I want to know the answer to this and which ship has travelled the most miles total.

Also agree...and so will the OP's family once they get a taste of the "Freedom Class" :D
I agree as well, especially since you get a lot of "bang" for your buck. My kids have been on quite a few cruises, but this last one on Freedom was by far their favorite. For us adults, the service was impeccable!
-
Certainly not a selling point for me. Now, if they were to include specialty coffees and fresh squeezed oj, then maybe.
agreed

It seems like a good alternative, but I prefer the lounge and mingling with people in a smaller venue. I also like seeing the same servers night after night up there. AND lets not forget the appetizers. I love those things! :D

In my opinion, it is not worth the $10. We won't be doing it again.
