  1. You forgot the fumbling around to find the checkbook and then a pen!
  2. We board Meraviglia on Sunday, I will try the QR code and report back. Since it is MSC, I’ll also take a backup copy, just in case!
  3. Enjoying your reviews! Do you have any comments on the embarkation in Boston? We are on the next cruise from NYC and saw there were long lines for embarking. Thanks!!
  4. The “worth” would depend on you. The YC interior is very similar to standard interior, small room, limited storage, small bathroom. BUT, it is in YC, with the benefits that come with it.
  5. Make sure your name is as what is on the confirmation . (First name, Middle, last name , suffix such as Jr.)
  6. The following was on Crew Center Facebook page: Message from guest: MSC Seascape approx. 9pm September 16th en route to Miami passenger incident balcony to cabin now covered in various sheeting 4 x police vehicles waiting for ship to dock disembarkation delayed slightly.
  7. He has a Facebook page, which I have been banned from seeing/commenting!!
  8. Thanks Jagr, you just reminded me to pack red solo cups for our upcoming N.E. cruise!!
  9. Looking forward to your review, as we are on the October 4th cruise on Meraviglia. As for YC interior, the upgrade would be it is in YC. The cabin is small, limited closet space and the bathroom / shower is relatively small. We were in the YC inter in January out of Cape Canaveral, and it is doable for us, as we don’t tend to stay in the cabin a lot. Also, interior is great for a nap! Enjoy your cruise!!!
  10. Make sure you keep all paperwork with you upon disembarkation, as Border Patrol will verify that the minor is allowed to travel with you.
  11. Here is my best guess, having never sailed a ship without YC. The YC area on ocean cay would probably not be open, the butlers provide some of the guest services on Ocean Cay, cabana setup, bring drinks, etc. You might could use the beach and chairs at YC area, but the YC beach is not the best in my opinion and is a long walk to get food.
  12. We were on Seascape the week of July 30. I mostly wore slacks or jeans to dinner, but did wear nice shorts at least one night, with no issue. One day at lunch a guy shows up in a tank top, he had to put on a different shirt. Gala night , some dressed to the nines, some dressed casual.
  13. You embark the ship on Friday September 22, you debark the ship on Friday September 29. One week, seven nights.
  14. We were on Seascape on the July 30 western Caribbean sailing. The pergola hogs had staked out all of the pergolas before 5:30am. One family of 4 took two! Most remained unoccupied for long periods of time.
  15. He was very comedic in his daily announcements, and made a point to talk to everyone during his meet and greet in the YC. His family was on board last week!
  16. 16029 may be far enough toward aft to hear and feel the clacking and banging. I would think that 16023 should have heard something, our wine glasses adjacent to the common wall would rattle at times. If you do encounter an issue, skip the butler and concierge. Go straight to the YC Director!
  17. I usually check the location, but I guess I slipped on this one!
  18. Hopefully these are growing pains from the NYC start up. We sail October 4th to New England and Canada, maybe they will have local provisions by then!
  19. We were on Seascape in YC last week, and preferred the marketplace buffet for lunch on port days! Much better selection IMO.
  20. Actually cleaning the kitchen, wife and I called it the bowling alley!! Very little sleep for 4 nights! Then we began the walk of shame at night out of YC to sleep!
  21. I never saw the people next door to us, but there was banging and dropping things from about 1:30am til 4ish. My wife will never let me forget it!!
