For seadays, I learned on my second cruise MDR was much better than Lido. That was 9 years ago. I only cruised a second time because my daughter begged me. I wasn't planning on cruising ever again after enduring Lido breakfast buffet food. Fast forward, nowadays you also run the risk of BACATION DAYS! THE HORROR! The workaround is easy, chill in a relaxed, seaview table with bacon instead of fuming over no bacon on Lido because even on those dreaded bacation days you can get bacon in MDR.

Some burgers NEED concealment. I know some of you guys love guys burgers. I don't understand it, in fact it kinda blows my mind. But I like you all so I accept it. (fingers crossed)

I did try Guy's on Mardi Gras cuz I wanted to experience the "new fries" I had seen posted about. Oddly, I thought the fries were better than the old fries but for the burger I gave it a second chance after the first bite but I was two and done. I hate to waste food!

I'll never understand how anyone likes those burgers. They are horrible. I've tried over and over because there's alot of you guys on here that I like alot who say they're great. But every time I am some range of dis'd, between disappointed and disgusted. Notice the irregular edges, pink-slimish mixed with the pieces of prior cooked discarded burger bits. Notice the toppings bar quality. Sorry, I do love Carnival but when I think of the branded sandwiches onboard I give Shaq a 9 and guy fieri a 2. Only reason it's not a 1 is because it does taste like beef. Kinda.

It depends on where OP is staying. We stay at the Holiday Inn property across the street from Terminal 3. It's a two-minute walk. Uber would be crazy.

I agree the breakfast biscuits are not as good as the lunch sandwiches. To me, it's just that the quality of the chicken sandwich, and as Sid said the crunch, is very good at Shaq's, where I think it's missing at Guy's, and is hit or miss on most Carnival Lido buffets.

After I went back and looked at my flimsy clue, I think it's really impressive you got that. Did you throw rice and hot dogs, and bring an umbrella? I saw this movie about 40 times, 40 Friday nights at midnight in a row, at Key Theater in Georgetown on Wisconsin and Prospect. Those were also my punk rock/new wave years. Except for the years after my daughter was born, best years of my life.

Sid, this has been a lot of fun, really improved my last ten days! I'm reminded of a classic movie, where a grey-haired woman who is dancing like someone much younger blurts out "Lovely Party!" 10 Sid points for the first responder with the movie. Are you serious? THAT steak was not classified PRIME? Can you look at the wrapper and confirm? I've never seen a CHOICE or SELECT steak with that kind of marbling!
