go to portfever.com and you can see when the ships arrive at port. This is not to say you will be off at that time. The ship has to clear customs and there seems to be the occasional immigration issues that delay the start of disembarkation.

Hi, we are thinking 4-day Feb 12, 2018 Miami-Key West-Cozumel - if we go this will be our first February cruise, how was the weather in Miami and in the Western Caribbean

Hi, 8/20/17 Allure - we purchased a 24 pack for $1.99 at Walgreen's and taped a bag tag on it and checked it with the rest of our luggage, it arrived at our cabin along with all our bags. They want to charge you $80 to purchase it on board.

we cruised with Styxx and Boston, both were awesome and well worth the extra cost. We even made it on Boston Facebook

Hi,
My wife and I (both in our 40's) sailed on Regal Princess Nov 2016. Most of our sailings have been on on CCL. We also sailed NCL and RCL. Princess was a great cruise. The food and entertainment are the same. The Lido Marketplace (buffet) all the tables have silverware and staff are walking around with the normal complimentary drinks. It was a very relaxing 7 days. I would go back. It is a mature crowd. This is not saying people are old. Just not a jumping environment. I saw plenty of guests with beverage package. People had fun but were respectful. No a lot of singing in the MDR. Not a lot of music around the ship at night like CCL. So if you want a more quiet experience Princess is a good choice. I hope this helps. Ask any questions and I will try to answer

I hope they get most of the new venues, Guy's, BlueIguana Cantina, Steak House - they pushed these venues to the Fantasy class ships. Victory needs something.

Has anyone heard if Carnival will continue with its Live Concert sailings in 2018 -

Yes tip is included and $45 is a great price. I would jump on that When you order a drink you will get a receipt to sign. There is a line for extra tip. I always add a $1.00, you don't have to, but the $1.00 will hit your account so you can keep track of the number of drinks you had over the course of the cruise. The bar tenders really appreciate it and it goes to them directly. The 18% is pooled and shared. Plus you get much better service. I would walk up to a busy bar and the bar tender would see me coming and have my beer ready. Have fun

Yes, on some days there is a special buy 4 get the 5th free. It is better than nothing, at $8.25 (plus 18%) per 16oz beer that bucket will cost $40.

If you hit the 15 max you are done for the day, you can't buy even buy a drink

Hi All, my wife and I are Platinum, recently we cruised out of Miami with two other couples in separate cabins, I politely asked the CCL rep if they could follow us to the Captain's Lounge and they said it was ok. They even checked them in. I guess it does not hurt to ask.

Beer has gone up to $8.25/16oz can

RCL has developed an app where you can IM others while on the ship. This was not available on our Allure sailing but soon will. We had to buy the internet pkg so we can text each other.

Hi, we were on 8/20/17 Allure, we also were newbies to the big ship. Dinner and entertainment opened up for pre cruise reservations at different times around 120-90 days before departure. Keep checking as they do not have a set date. If you don't pre-reserve for dinner or entertainment there will be a line. We all love this ship, and will book it again next August, maybe Oasis. Happy to answer any questions

Sailed 8/20/17, we pre-booked all shows as soon as they came available. You show up at show time and they scan your card. If you don't have reservation there is a line and it is very long. I suggest booking the Aqua Aria early in the cruise just in case they cancel due to weather, you will have another opportunity to see it by the end of the cruise. This show, best seats are center top. We were on the side and did not get a full view of the show. Pre-book the comedy shows as well. The venue is very small.

I agree with jc3443 - it takes the guess work out, $41 is a great prince too. Fresh OJ at Park Cafe with our carry on champagne makes all the difference. Juice bar at the spa is also included.

HI, we were on Allure 8/20/17, loved the ship. We avoided the WJ and went to the Solarium. It filled up fast, the layout made it seem crowed and slow to get around. We all found the food options a little odd for our taste (we had 3 families of four, all ages). We went down to deck 8 to the Park Cafe. Soup and sandwiches. This quickly became a favorite throughout the cruise, breakfast (bean and egg burrito, a favorite of mine, tasty), egg/cheese/meat on English Muffins, bagels to order) and lunch (real roast beef sliders, paninis, soups). WJ is packed most of the time, avoid at peak times you will stand in line to get in. We all loved the ship

Platinum/Diamond party 5 nights or greater

Hi, just off 8/20 Allure, we (6 cabins) all pre-reserved ATD 6:30 each night. Keep in mind there will be two lines one for guests with reservations and one for no-reservations. Guess which line was the longest.

Forgot to add if you purchase First Night Done Right ($15) some ships allow you to choose Chops. On Allure they only offered Giovanni's or Samba. I have read other ships do not have that restriction.
-
$49 was the cost on 8/20/17 Allure

thanks, that is a bummer, we enjoyed them more than once ourselves.

Have not sailed CCL for a couple of years, last time was Nov 2015 Victory. Back then spring rolls appetizer was on the menu each night - can anyone say if they are still on the menu each night.

Hi All,
Just returned from 8/20/17-8/27/17 Allure of the Seas - Port Everglades - my party of 12 (all Gold), 6 cabins showed up to the terminal between 10:30-11:00 am, little line to enter the terminal, once in, quickly through security, went to our cabin deck line, checked in, went right up the escalator and onto the ship. It took more time for them to find my friend and his family's Sea Pass card then it took the rest of us to check in and step on the boat. I could not believe how fast it was.

Next time in FLL, try Rocco's Tacos on Las Olas Blvd. We went there this past Aug prior to our anniversary cruise - it was really good. The Molcajetes was awesome
