  1. Hi,

My wife and I (both in our 40's) sailed on Regal Princess Nov 2016. Most of our sailings have been on on CCL. We also sailed NCL and RCL. Princess was a great cruise. The food and entertainment are the same. The Lido Marketplace (buffet) all the tables have silverware and staff are walking around with the normal complimentary drinks. It was a very relaxing 7 days. I would go back. It is a mature crowd. This is not saying people are old. Just not a jumping environment. I saw plenty of guests with beverage package. People had fun but were respectful. No a lot of singing in the MDR. Not a lot of music around the ship at night like CCL. So if you want a more quiet experience Princess is a good choice. I hope this helps. Ask any questions and I will try to answer

  2. Yes tip is included and $45 is a great price. I would jump on that When you order a drink you will get a receipt to sign. There is a line for extra tip. I always add a $1.00, you don't have to, but the $1.00 will hit your account so you can keep track of the number of drinks you had over the course of the cruise. The bar tenders really appreciate it and it goes to them directly. The 18% is pooled and shared. Plus you get much better service. I would walk up to a busy bar and the bar tender would see me coming and have my beer ready. Have fun

  3. Hi, we were on 8/20/17 Allure, we also were newbies to the big ship. Dinner and entertainment opened up for pre cruise reservations at different times around 120-90 days before departure. Keep checking as they do not have a set date. If you don't pre-reserve for dinner or entertainment there will be a line. We all love this ship, and will book it again next August, maybe Oasis. Happy to answer any questions

  4. Sailed 8/20/17, we pre-booked all shows as soon as they came available. You show up at show time and they scan your card. If you don't have reservation there is a line and it is very long. I suggest booking the Aqua Aria early in the cruise just in case they cancel due to weather, you will have another opportunity to see it by the end of the cruise. This show, best seats are center top. We were on the side and did not get a full view of the show. Pre-book the comedy shows as well. The venue is very small.

  5. HI, we were on Allure 8/20/17, loved the ship. We avoided the WJ and went to the Solarium. It filled up fast, the layout made it seem crowed and slow to get around. We all found the food options a little odd for our taste (we had 3 families of four, all ages). We went down to deck 8 to the Park Cafe. Soup and sandwiches. This quickly became a favorite throughout the cruise, breakfast (bean and egg burrito, a favorite of mine, tasty), egg/cheese/meat on English Muffins, bagels to order) and lunch (real roast beef sliders, paninis, soups). WJ is packed most of the time, avoid at peak times you will stand in line to get in. We all loved the ship

  6. Hi All,

Just returned from 8/20/17-8/27/17 Allure of the Seas - Port Everglades - my party of 12 (all Gold), 6 cabins showed up to the terminal between 10:30-11:00 am, little line to enter the terminal, once in, quickly through security, went to our cabin deck line, checked in, went right up the escalator and onto the ship. It took more time for them to find my friend and his family's Sea Pass card then it took the rest of us to check in and step on the boat. I could not believe how fast it was.
