  1. Yup...though I scored pretty well with the GS I will be in for four weeks. Was originally supposed to be Allure, with the price we paid...reflecting that older ship. Then it got switched to the new Wonder...and we enjoyed price protection. 🤗
  2. Harmony's last cruise out of PC is end of this month on the 30th. We will miss her, and her crew. We will be on board Wonder as she comes into PC for the first time, replacing Harmony. Debut of her arrival is 11/13. Looking forward to meeting the new home port lady. 🙂
  3. She looked like she needed a lot of work one time we were in St. Maarten earlier this year. I think you were on the same sailing, when she came in next to us for restock? Sorry...sorry sight indeed. She used to be such a grand old lady...hope they were able to restore her.
  4. Great idea. They do need it...was not there when we went. Obviously I was not alone with noticing that long walk to the small bathrooms up by the pool. 😉
  5. Bucky loves his hot dog at Chill Grill (we don't make them at home)...then on way back to ship right after, grabs an ice cream cone. 😉 I actually like and prefer the taco bar.
  6. Yes...unlucky especially when my sister was having some distress and then having to wait in line. All three times we went there...a long line. And it's a long walk from the OTWC just to get there.
  7. And the line to get into the tiny restroom? Worse even when some use the 2-3 stalls for changing clothes. 😖
  8. Ahh...a new meaning to "wet behind the ears"? Can't be fun trying to be out there during a storm while coming into port!! 😮 I always loved the Rhapsody. Was so sad to see her falling apart and all rusty when they took her out of service as crew and quarantine ship outside of St. Maarten. 😞
  9. My sister surprised us for my birthday with one of those over the water cabanas. I would never have wasted the money. I was bored within a half hour. The "sandy bottom" is slimy and full of small barnacles around the one we had. The food was good, but too much of it, and very slow (we got ours an hour later than promised). The worst thing...as I posted...is what the heck with the distance to the bath rooms??!! And when you get there...they are small with a long line. Yikes. OK..so pee in the ocean (which does not help with keeping it clean and clear in that area IMHO)......but what if you have to do something else?
  10. And a tiny 2 stall ladies room that you almost need a train to get to when you rent one of those over the water cabanas!! What were they thinking when they put those tiny rest rooms in for such a large area? I would not want to swim in that pool! 😝
  11. Pretty cool. I love those older ships with the outside wing bridges. Though having to go out there during a storm would not be so nice. 😮 I am guessing Rhapsody.
  12. Mine only shows the cabin number and section...no C&A level. Like it that way. 😉
  13. As long as you made it on to the right ship...that was the most important. 😄
  14. Ian...I hope you did not suffer too many "joke's" about your name. I believe you are a lot tamer than Ian the hurricane though. 😄
  15. Indeed, they were always fun to check out. Lots of "eye" candy was on that ship. 🙂
  16. Still have never been on Allure (was cancelled and replaced for our TA on Wonder). Though pretty sure I saw it's duplicate on Oasis.
  17. OMG...that's hilarious!! 😄 We had a great time on a river barge canal cruise once in France. Most of the boat consisted of a travel group of retired Delta pilots and their wives. What a fun and great bunch of people!
  18. LOL...we flew AA down from Maine last month. The captain came on the speaker and introduced himself as Captain Kirk. We all got real quiet and then cracked up...and apparently it was his real name! 😄
  19. And we adored her twin sister, Monarch...for many years. Best crew on the high seas, always remembered our names and the things we liked. Best upper tier party pulling into Nassau late in the morning. The ones they host now on the large ships...are totally lame.
  20. Carnival...something with clowns in their show? 😉
  21. LOL...my first guess was Oasis class... 😉 Yes, Mariner. I think seeing the Navy base outside the window could have given it away as Mariner. That was embarkation on the first 8 night route when she started out from T#1...before she had to transfer to T#5.
