  2. Since it's the app and those are only available right before sailing I'd assume they go right to the ship. Special needs is basically doing the same thing. They are just taking that information earlier but it still gets directed to the ship
  3. It's a big bucket they handle and it is the proper department for which to make the request.
  4. That's where I make all requests for anything out of the ordinary such as allergies, CPAP and mattress toppers. It all shows on the same line on the invoice.
  5. No. The TA would have to book a specific restaurant and time and date. I don't know of any TA doing that.
  6. There are. Mostly OBC but some TA'a will also buy bottles of wine or strawberries in the room but it could be anything in the "gifts" section on Royals site.
  7. Really not necessary as this is common for NA cruisers under 21 who book a European cruise
  8. it is not actually a separate perk by a third party. It is offered by Royal as a pass through promotion to select TA's. Royal still sets the terms and conditions of which clients get this based on the cruise category and sailing date.

  12. Sorry but it would be impossible to post variations for every country and this is very much predominately North American guests. I was also replying to you who I see lives in NA. If someone had a UK address in their signature I could have answered appropriately

  14. Just to add to this, somewhere between 65% and 85% of the American public has never taken a cruise. That is a huge market. Younger families now are also taking their kids on vacations with them unlike 4o yeas ago when in a lot of cases the kids stayed home. Young travellers today also want the newest and best but don't have the time for week long vacations. I can remember all the naysayers when Royal added the bigger ships starting with the EX class and then bumping it up to FR and ultimately OA saying there is no way they would fill those ships yet here we are.

  16. Actually, Firefly was correct. A Spacious balcony is larger than a regular balcony which is a "B" category. You are thinking of the "C" category which is the Oceanview stateroom with the large balcony. What Firefly may not have realized is that there are no spacious balconies on Oasis class.
  17. I am fairly certain that Royal will not provide 2 pack n plays for the room. There is just not the space in any of the standard quad cabins. You would need to get one of the Ultra spacious cabins that are available in insides, OV and balconies. Those can sleep up to 6.

You were lucky and I will admit that Royal makes lots of mistakes but the reason that double points are not supposed to be awarded if you cancel after final payment is that the money for the second guest is actually held as a penalty and is not actually applidd to you so technically you did not pay the double cruise fare. Glad it worked for you however it shouldn't have.
  19. The soundproofing in the walls is the exact same on every cabin. It is how tight the connecting door seals that allows the noise transfer. Some have gaps at the bottom of the door that can be lessened by jamming a towel in there
  20. There are two different scenarios neither of which will result in a reprice. Removing the second guest BEFORE final payment will allow the remaining person to get double C&A points Removing the second guest AFTER final payment date will then have the first guest to receive only one point per night
