  1. Really don't know why Royal does not list the specific category on their invoices that they provide to guests who book direct. The guest copy of the invoice that Royal provides to travel agents shows the category
  2. On Royals invoices they do not show the actual category booked ie XN vs XB. I would just call in and ask the rep what category they have you listed in without giving them any background information.
  3. Since Royal allows North American bookings to be repriced up until final payment there is absolutely no benefit to wait to book a cruise if you know the ship and date you want. All that can happen is that the price goes up while you are waiting for a "sale"
  4. 1. No 2. No, you cannot add additional passengers
  5. Yep, I even go as far as to pay for my beer during the day saving the vouchers until evening.
  6. Unfortunately I think that even with the newer smaller ships there will be ports that ultimately Royal will have no choice but to drop.
  7. In my opinion you won't see any of the Vision class leaving the fleet until the new class of ships under Project Discovery start to be delivered and as they have not even announced that yet I would think that is still 5 years away. Once those ships start to enter into service I would look to see the Vison class retired and Radiance class take over their itineraries with Discover replacing Radiance class
  8. Yes, drop the second passenger prior to final payment and you get the double points. The reason that no shows no longer get the double points is that Royal holds that second passengers money in penalty (it does not get applied to the first guest. The reason it is officially held in penalty is in case the no show files an insurance claim Royal can issue the letter of the penalty withheld and as such the first passenger did not pay the full double occupancy rate.
  9. Royal charges for 2 people in the cabin (90% of the time, on rare occasions there may be a special where you get a reduced rate) Because they charge for 2 if you drop a passenger there is nothing "extra" to pay. Dropping a passendger does not trigger a reprice unless you also change categories
  10. It can be updated as late as 48 hours prior to sailing
  11. Without seeing the top portion of the invoice there is no way of telling whether you are in a suite or balcony
  12. Under 5 is free ftom a kids menu. 6 to 12 is a reduced price from a menu that has some Chops items but smaller portions.
  13. No idea but yhat would be easy enough to do. This was basically a perk for world cruisers. Not sure they want everyone else on the ship hogging the machines.
  14. Scroll all the way down past other dining options and select MTD, that brings up another screen with a "RESERVE" button...select that. If that is not coming up are you sure that you have MTD and not early or late dining
  15. Not sure yet if they will be available to anyone other than people booked on the full voyage.
  16. Depending on the bartender they may or may not mix it in for you.
  17. You have until 48 hours prior. 24 is too late
  18. Yep, cancelled my Norway cruise on the Serenade. Really surprised that on the World cruise they did not stop at either Flam or Gerainger. Booked the Apex instead that hits both those ports
