  1. That's fine. You can call up to 48 hours prior to sailing and add and pay for them at that time at the old rate or pay them on board at the higher rate
  2. It did not have to be added prior to the 11th. As long as the cruise was booked before the 11th the gratuities, at the old rate can be added anytime before you sail.
  3. Your TA needs to call and have Royal manually add the gratuities fir the old rate. It is not something the TA can do.
  4. You do not have to prepay. As long as the gratuity is added before you sail you get the old rate as long as thr cruise was booked before Nov. 11th.
  5. They did install laundry facilities for the world cruise but they are available only for guests doing the full voyage
  6. We had a metal roof installed about 5 years ago. Love it. It was an easy decision for us as we would have needed to strip the entire roof, plywood and all (50 year old 2x2 sheeting that had sagged) and that was a $12k job at the time. With the metal roof there was no need to strip the plywood and the cost of the metal roof was only $18k. Unless it's a torrential rain we don't hear it and basically of it's raining hard enough to hear it on the metal roof you would hear it on asphalt. We also redid our eavestrough and downspout at the same time and went with steel as opposed to the aluminum, big difference, you'd break your fist before denting it, unlike aluminum. Given you probably get just as much snow as we do, if not more, make sure that they install snow guards all the way around. Without them when it decides to let go it comes down with a vengeance and will destroy anything in it's path. We went the first winter and only had them installed where people would be walking, after the first winter we have to roofers back and installed them all round.
  7. That only provides forms for kids that are not your own. I have never been able to find a form by Royal for one parent travelling. The only other thing it mentions is when the child's last name does not match. There is no reference that I have found on the website about one parent travelling with their child with the same last name.
  8. Wow, I have never seen that close of a spread
  9. It has zero impact on you boarding the ship. Unfortunately Royal does not just have one data base it has several tied together through old legacy systems that push updates to the other systems. It is nothing to be concerned about
  10. No more FCC's. $100 per person fee to change to another ship or sail date
  11. Star is the week of Dec 4th. Rest of the itineraries (including short sailings) in February
  12. All the other categories have names just like the Sunset balcony. Oceanview balcony, spacious oceanview balcony, interior, large interior. Nothing new in their naming convention
  13. I just tried and while Royal has not included them with the suites if you try to make a refundable booking the price more than doubles.
  14. The option to sail with only a DL and Birth certificates is only available for US citizens. With your current ID I would assume that you will also need a document showing that you are a US citizen.
  15. Booking through the UK site may or may not offer the same discounts as booking through the US site
  16. Unfortunately they are not complimentary for suite guests
  17. In this case they have jackets that they will lend you as it is formal.
  18. Didn't work for them and we are all okay with the change. Sometimes its not always about the itinerary.
  19. Was on the Apex that went to Flam and Gereinger but would rather travel with family who want to go in July
  20. Big factor for many will be that starting this summer Utopia will take over the 3 and 4 day itineraries and Wonder will be doing the 7 day for another year and then Star will replace her leaving Port Canaveral with 2 of Royals highest price ships.
