  1. It does not matter of the booking is refundable or not. Since you have to pay a deposit (Those FCC's cannot be used as a deposit) the FCC's would be reinstated as long as you cancelled prior to final payment. After final payment they would be subject to the cancellation penalties on the booking whether it's a refundable or non refundable booking. When they are reinstated they are subject to the same use by and sail by dates of the original FCC which in this case given the type of FCC it is would have a use by and sail by date of 12 months from the date of issue
  2. No different than lots of families with zero interest in sailing Radiance and vision class ships. Even within the same brand they easily market to entirely different demographics.
  3. Royal is not looking at their traditional cruiser who has been spoiled by low cost vacations for years. These new ships are being targeted to families who think nothing of spending that kind of money for a week at Disneyland for a week or a week on a Disney cruise.
  4. I would not read anything from that statement. That close to sailing nothing at all can be done. The reps do not even have the ability to cancel it at that point and guests that are cancelling then are just treated as a no show.
  5. I have no idea what the rules are in Europe but it definitely cannot be done for North American bookings. The ability to move or cancel after final payment ended in late 2022 (Sept 30 if I recall correctly). After final payment you are in one of several penalty phases based on how many days from sailing you are.
  6. Definitely not allowing that now. If I recall correctly that came to an end Sept 30, 2022
  7. That only applies before final payment. After final payment regular cancellation penalties apply znd within 30 days of sailing you are in the 100% penalty phase. One person's name must remain on the booking do only one name could be changed.
  8. FYI, your sailing on Odyssey is the 23rd not the 24th. The sailing is sold out so unfortunately there won't be any accessible cabins left
  9. Sorry to hear about your dog. Unfortunately as others have stated you will only get back port fees and taxes. Cancel for any reason insurance has to be purchased within a set number of days of booking your cruise so that's not an option. The only thing I can suggest is if you have a friend or relative that wants to travel solo you can change one name on the booking as long as one name remains. The friend boards and the original passenger is a no show. Might allow you to recoup a small portion of the fare or at least gift a cruise to someone.
  10. On suites the extra Savings nrd is usually greater than the D+ discount and the 2 are not combinable.
  11. 30% Savings is combinable. The other line (bonus promo) of Savings nrd is not.
  12. It could also have been Ben and Jerry that did not renew the contract, nothing to say it was Royal that did not renew.
  13. Yes. Liberty never received them. Symphony definitely does. None have been removed.
  14. B2b cruisers are free to disembark with other guests earlier in the day. Just ask for an in transit card yo bypass the line when getting back on the ship.
  15. A couple of miles north of me this guy escaped from the zoo and is successfully eluding those trying to find him. Not everyday you can drive down the road and see a kangaroo in Canada. https://www.google.com/search?q=kangaroo+on+the+loose+oshawa&sca_esv=587464862&rlz=1C1RXQR_enCA975CA975&tbm=vid&sxsrf=AM9HkKkx4jN7B5iWwt7lefDVruNPWQYemw:1701608828179&source=lnms&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwih9P_tqvOCAxVrFTQIHRK1BhMQ_AUoA3oECAUQBQ&biw=1243&bih=722&dpr=2.2#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:fb925106,vid:RSav8TL2r98,st:0
  16. I guess its not really called snip it, its just a snipping tool that is part of microsoft programs on my laptop. hold down shift, windows button and s at the same time to activate
  17. It hasn't even been a day and this is a weekend. I would not be the least bit concerned and I certainly would not call this an issue
  18. Comped cruises still pay taxes and fees and are awarded points
  19. Yes you can use it on an already booked cruise. If you cancel that cruise the FCC will be reinstated with it's original expiry date. Certificates issued for on board issues usually have a use by and sail by date of 1 year and are non transferrable.
  20. Use one of the editing tools and black everything out that is not relevant. I use snip it.
