You have a pretty unique situation as very few passengers will have these very old deposits that I believe have NO expiration. I actually inherited a RC deposit from a brother that was purchased in 2011 with no expiration date a couple years ago.

When I called Royal to redeem, they told me a ‘new’ booking number needed to be created. I did receive the associated OBC for using this old future deposit booking. It even had a friends and family certificate attached which I was able to share and redeem, so my friends received OBC just because we were sailing together.

This old Royal certificate was transferable, Celebrity should be able to verify if your old one has this option or refund.
 

You did not disclose this key information regarding your deposits were very old ones with probably no expiration. 
 

With this additional information, maybe the replies will be different, assume Celebrity should be able to verify your options for use of this ‘old’ deposit.

@Ourusualbeach, being a TA, are you familiar with these old Celebrity deposit rules from 2014. I assume the actual deposit/certificate lists it’s T&C’s.

When did you purchase? As of 1/1/2024 Celebrity Open future deposits are NON refundable. If you purchased last year in 2023, you should be able to get it refunded. You only have 6 months from purchase to book a sailing AND receive the bonus OBC for using this open deposit, after 6 months the value is being able to use this lower $100 deposit as your full deposit. After 12 months, they expire, if bought before 1/1/2024, you get refund, else you lose it.

Your boarding pass will have the ‘check in’ window which is not the same as time frame to board. Many ports you can arrive earlier than the earliest check in hour.

Boarding is dependent on when the ship passenger count reaches ‘zero’ and ship has been cleared for boarding.

Check in is when at the terminal/port, you are allowed to be officially checked in and or pick up your Medallion. Sometimes, immediately after check in, you are allowed to ‘board’, other times you may be required to wait in a holding area/lounge till the ship is ready to commence boarding.

Your check in window timeframe should be all you need to know.

Nope, I am 4 days from boarding and still no boarding pass. Princess no longer has you select a boarding group, your boarding pass with a QR code will list the check in window for your sailing along with your cabin # and deck name.
 

For sure, it appears in APP at least 1 day before sailing.

@rocker57, the Military OBC mirrors the shareholders OBC, based on length of sailing, 6 days or less, $50, 7-13 days, $100 and 14+ days, $250.
 

Shareholders is awarded on a per cabin basis, so if both passengers or more qualify for shareholders, only 1 passengers will get. Briefly, solos could not receive Military AND shareholders, but I think Princess reinstated. Maximum 2 military OBC per booking. See Princess.com for details. Canadian and US military only.

I think the boarding pass will now also show your Cabin assignment and Deck name. I believe the check in agent will ask you for your cabin number if you know it, as I believe the Medallions for pick up are sorted by deck/cabin number.

I will ask what size Jigger Princess bartenders use, but I believe the most common one is 1.5 oz and 3/4 oz on the flip side.

On Princess, mini bar is only stocked if you are in a suite and or Elite loyalty tier, if both then u receive 2 minibars, Items provided will depend on availability, but normally will have 8 alcohol minis and 2 beers, with 10 non alcohol items being combination of bottled water, sparkling water, soft drinks and tonic/club soda mixer. You are allowed to swap alcohol for alcohol/non alcohol and non alcohol for any other non alcohol item available, such as you want all bottled water or all soft drink or total minibar for 1 bottle of wine from a selected list(many feel this is not a great trade).

Have not seen wine package offered in a long time, will ask on upcoming 17 day sailing if Princess plans to reintroduce.

@Eleanor Rigby 14, Princess became known for having this on board that I believe the flower also became known as ‘Princess lily’. Club class now Reserve class would have Dendrobium orchid spike instead.

@paddingtonbear, I believe you can request GF pizza at Alfredo’s and the lido deck ‘included’ pizza

Unused REFUNDABLE OBC is supposed to be refunded via a check to address on file. Your folio will show if your OBC is non refundable or refundable.

No, I am almost certain @C & C Love to Cruise invoice just has a line item that says ‘INCLUDED air fees’. Meaning this amount is part of the total airfare, not an additional charged amount, and just breaking out this ‘amount’ to identify it.

@C & C Love to Cruise, please verify. If you check the invoice, $60 was NOT added to your total due.

Are you still having issues with Princess.com. I went to the APP and when I switched sailings, it logged me out and I had to log in again.
 

I am able to access Princess.com and login using my iPad and was able to check on my upcoming sailings.

@Honolulu Blue, would you verify if my memory is off?

I think I remember you were posting on our roll call for a Transpacific sailing you eventually cancelled a few years ago, but posted about your extensive Aloha shirt collection and would be at International cafe in the morning for an informal Coffee Klatch?

Do you have access to the APP? On the top scroll/swipe left till you see luggage tags, you can also see you travel summary.

You realize this is an old thread from December 2023? There are currently 2 threads doing ‘live from the Emerald’ that are posting the current patters which would give you a better ideal of the scheduled ‘Events’.

Were you curious as to generally what is offered on Princess or specifically just on the Emerald?

Princess.com is supposed to be FREE access, so you should not need an internet paid plan.

Try and see if you can bring up the Princess gift cards by typing Princess in the search bar. When I did this, the 2 Princess gift cards show WITHOUT the members only banner, see if you can then put them in your cart. Look when you scroll down to see ALL REWARDS, there should be a filter button and next to it a search bar where you can type Princess.

So if you do a search at the redeem page, the Princess gift cards will show WITHOUT a members only banner, but if you just scroll down when ALL the gift cards display and get to Princess, the members only banner will show.

Call into AARP and agent verified this ‘error’ but they did confirm, Princess gift cards are NOT members only.
