This is disappointing to hear. We've been on Mardi Gras 4 times and are booked again for September. Unfortunately, MDR has been the biggest disappointment of the cruise each time. Our first time on MG, we went to the MDR twice (hoping the first time was a fluke). Second MG cruise we went to the MDR once and not at all on the next two cruises. We had the opposite experience on Celebration in December. We ate in the MDR 4 times I believe, and food and service were great each time. I was really hoping MG would get it together by now. If Celebration can make it work, Mardi Gras should be able to as well. Fortunately, there are a lot of other food options on Mardi Gras so I'm sure we won't starve but it's just a shame.

This is a good question and I need to know the answer. We're on a B2B on Vista in April and will have Cheers for both legs. I'm wondering if I can get a mimosa the morning of the in between day on my old Cheers before my new Cheers kicks in. 🥂 I enjoyed following along on your cruise Greg, can't wait for your next one! 🙂

Yes but it's always nice to hear from recent cruisers for confirmation. That's why this forum exists, yes?

I've actually noticed a lot of women with small crossbody purses on cruises lately.

I carry my phone in a small crossbody purse. It has card slots so I could put my S&S card in there too but I've started using a lanyard with detachable clip again. It's just more convenient for me.

Embarkation lunch for Concierge passengers?
Knights on the Beach replied to Larainerenee's topic in Celebrity Cruises
We're in concierge next January. It will be our first Celebrity cruise so I'm not even sure we'll be able to get an early enough arrival time to make it to the lunch. Would anyone happen to have a copy of the menu? -
Has your PVP ever surprised you ?

The real benefit is having someone to reach out to when something goes wrong or you need to make changes to a booking. We used to use a big online TA for all our cruises (1997 - 2010) - same guy for most of those cruises until he retired. Then when we started cruising again in 2021, I booked the first couple myself then found a great PVP. When Freedom caught on fire a couple days prior to our cruise in 2022, she was able to quickly get us on Mardi Gras for the same cruise date before it sold out. -

We're going to take a ride over shortly to take a peek at her. I'd rather be sitting at the atrium bar though. 🙂 -

That was our experience as well (minus the plane). -
Bahamas rears its ugly head

Freeport is on Grand Bahama Island, ships have been going there for many years - though it's probably been 15+ years since we've been there on a cruise.
