  1. I also jumped on it. I looked yesterday to possibly upgrade to a S1 and the price is almost 2k more. Wish I saw the Ascent deal.
  2. Weird, I was looking at cruise I have booked. They are in the app. One cruise is 2023 and the other is in 2024.
  3. I checked a 2024 sailing in the app and see the same information. Maybe delete and then reinstall the app.
  4. I select a MDR in the app the select "Show More". Then I see the dining times.
  5. You can reprice with a non refundable deposit as well. I suggested a refundable deposit in case the price never goes down to an acceptable price.
  6. How would a non passenger access the cruise planner? when you select manage reservation from Celebrity's webpage, you either have to sign in or create an account.
  7. I've noticed this option in the cruise planner for an upcoming cruise. Has anyone purchased this certificate and can share their experience? The price is $45 and can be used at any speciality restaurant. The T&C does not mention you have to pay the difference between $45 and the restaurant cover charge. I'm wondering if this is a way to get a bigger discount at a speciality restaurant. Similar to the $50 photo package for digital and prints that was offered at one time and does not exist anymore, A lot of times, onboard staff are not familiar with what stateside promotions and discounts. Edited to add I cannot find a way to add the certificate for an advanced purchase in the app or cruise planner.
  8. I understand. The OP that I was replying to is from the U.S., which has both.
  9. 2024 and 2025 prices will go down by the time final payment rolls around. Book a refundable deposit and monitor prices.
  10. If you haven't made final payment, there may be a $350 cash back offer for Celebrity on Amex.
  11. I asked the same question not long ago. My choices were AQ on Apex or suite on Reflection for the same price. I chose the Reflection and glad I did. I was a bit worried after being on the Edge and Beyond but I can honestly say I preferred the Reflection. The rooms were a bit dated and less technology around the ship but overall I liked the Reflection better and would make the same choice again. It was the vibe of the ship, the flow of the ship and overall design. As other mentioned, the Reflection has a real balcony and the Apex has an IV. There are mixed opinions on these. I didnt't hate nor like the IV. It did make the room feel bigger but in no way did it feel like I was ever sitting on a balcony even with the window all the way down. Of course, these are subjective opinions. If you are in a suite, Micheal's Club with a bar and seating is better than the Retreat lounge but the Retreat has its own pool, which is not on the Reflection. You cannot go wrong on either. Unrelated question - I could not figure out how to use my phone to control the lights and tv on the Beyond. Did Celebrity not include this feature to keep the costs down?
  12. Thanks for the post. I booked a suite as well. Surprise the pricing is still good. The downside is airfare is the cost of another of another cruise 😃. Might be more families onboard for Easter week and the Retreat an escape.
  13. I know this is an old post. I'm commenting for those who might see it later. I was just on the Radiance and lunch is complimentary. Your entree is created from your selection off a checklist.
  14. The offer says 10% off plus drinks, tips and wifi. What you were told is different. If it's the AI then it should be 10% off of everything including drinks, tips and wifi or something similar.
  15. Could your Blue Chip level determine whether it’s $10 or $20 dollars?
  16. I have not read this whole thread but was just on the Beyond. I had no problems. I could send emails, watch TikTok and YouTube videos with no buffering. Most importantly, the connection hardly dropped. On the Edge, I had to constantly sign in on the app. I find this annoying.
  17. I would still take a suite over a standard cabin any day. I prefer the upgraded suite experience and the extras you mentioned. I had a choice of the Apex in a AQ cabin or the suite on the Reflection for $200 more. The dates were a day apart and ports don’t matter to me. I have been to the Caribbean many times. I picked the Reflection. At the time I made my decision, I previously sailed on the Edge and Equinox. Although, I knew I would like the technology and updated decor on the Edge the suite on the Reflection was the better value. After my recent Beyond experience, I’m glad I chose the Reflection.
  18. I was just on the Beyond in a IV cabin and sailing on the Reflection in a suite in a few weeks but have sallied on the Equinox. I would opt for a suite over an IV cabin. The suite experience is better than a standard cabin, and a suite accumulates more captain club points if this is important to you.
  19. @BigAl94 Thanks for sharing the video. I'm a big fan of BTS. Just off Beyond in IV cabin 8268. There was no rough seas during the week and the cabin creaked every night. It was a bit better with the verandah door closed but I don't like dark rooms, like the sunlight and ocean views in the mornings. I suffered through for the sunlight.
  20. Following along.. I remember you from the Jan 2022 Edge cruise. I'm on the sailing after this one. I debated between this sailing and the next. The two extra days won. Congratulations on the AQ class win. I'm interested in hearing about Blu if you plan on eating there. An AQ is pricing at $7,800 for a solo on my sailing 😳. I know my minimum bid will not be a winner. For some reason the pricing on this cruise was reasonable and then did a shift to extremely high. Enjoy your cruise!
