This might sound silly, but where do you get the smoothies from and what kind are they?
-
Do you need to show photo ID (driver's license) when you leave the ship to tender back and forth at GSC?
-
Do you know if the lockers lock?
-
We will be doing the jet ski excursion. Are there lockers near the jet skis to put our towels, shoes and beach bag in? Do the lockers lock? Thank you!

Does anyone know what night on the Gem is chocoholic night in the dining room? Is it a random night or for example the second night of every cruise?

I too was looking forward to the rest of review. Hope everything is okay with Tralfie. When I saw you mention Ava Jerome I just thought you were a fellow General Hospital fan, now I know why the reference.

I would book now especially since it is only a $250pp fully refundable deposit. Like other posters said you have plenty of time to change your booking without a penalty. Last July I was watching prices to see if they would go down for a last minute cruise and they never did. July is a busy season. You have nothing to lose, BOOK!

My cruise is in June with both ships being in Port. Didn't know how crazy it would be. I know we have to go across the street but was wondering which pier and customs so I can tell car service where to pick us up.

No breaker issues with high setting and never had it confiscated.
-
Both the Breakaway and the Gem will dock on the same day. How does that work? What pier # and do both ships go through the same customs? Thank you!

I haven't seen one but a link would be good.

It doesn't make sense that they started charging for the sundae. It is what it is. That's why it's called vacation to treat yourself. My bill will have quite a few sundae charges.
-
Thank you. I think I will try and make reservations on My NCL. I like to plan it out thou sometimes my family is not too happy with that.
-
Old menus were good, don't know why they changed them. The old menu didn't charge for the walnut brownie sundae, lol.
-
WOW, a charge. It was worth it but its better when you don't have an extra charge.
-
Thank you, glad to hear it is still on the menu. I didn't know if the menu had changed in the last year and a half.

When we were on the Breakaway, O'Sheehans had the BEST walnut brownie sundae. Does anyone know if it is on the menu on the Gem?
-
My PCC said that our key card would have the UBP already on it but I keep reading about stickers. The UBP is part of the latest promotion. Taking the Gem and would like to know what is the correct thing before we get charged for beverages.

Thank you. How long do they serve food for. We are trying to book our jet ski excursion but don't want to miss lunch.
-
I was told by my PCC that I couldn't make dinner reservations for my party of four for the main dining rooms but it sounds like you did. Did you make them before the cruise or onboard. How did you reserve them? Thanks!

What time is the barbecue on Great Stirrup Cay? Thank you!

I emailed Atlantis and they accept the Discover card on their property. I don't know of any where else but I prefer using Discover because of the no fee policy.

Well I guess I must be a bad parent! As one post stated growing up I was allowed to drink in front of my parents and I have allowed my sons to do the same within reason. My "under aged" son goes away to college and unless I wear blinders I know he is going to drink. I would rather know what he is drinking than try and sneak it. We spend 99% of our time on vacation together so I am aware of what he is drinking. The drinking age when I was growing up was 18 and I faired pretty well. My son is old enough to fight for this country so having a couple of beers or a glass of wine short of his 21st birthday is not going to harm him. If the package is offered then he should be able to get it for free instead of having to pay for it. I like the idea of the corks package but I don't know if they will allow that. He doesn't drink soda so that would not be beneficial. Thanks to those of you who had my back!

WOW, I purposely asked the NCL rep about O'Sheehans because we enjoyed eating there on the Breakaway and she flat out told me that it was not on the Gem and that it was still Blue Lagoon. It makes me leary to want to book through her since I asked her other questions and now I don't know if she knows what she is talking about. She has been with NCL over a year so it's not like she is brand new.

Thank you all. I remember having to show it in port on one of our cruises but can't remember where. Does anyone know if you need it in Nassau?
