Love, love, love Chopsticks!!!

Glad to hear that your dad is doing well! We will be in Orlando post cruise April 28th until May 2nd.

Patti and I have another drink and then head back to the hotel to finish our packing. When we’re done we’ll only leave what we need for tomorrow morning. We decide that we’ll head over to Hooters for dinner. We bring all of our luggage and stuff downstairs and load up the car. That done, it’s time to eat!...... Patti and I are having our last drinks in Florida. That is, until we return in April!..... You can’t go wrong with chicken tenders, boneless wings, and loaded tater tots….. We make our way back to the hotel where we’ll watch a little tv and then go to bed. We’ll be getting a very early start tomorrow. Good Night! Coming up next: We begin our journey back to New Jersey.

Patti continues to explore Icon Park…… Patti makes it back to me and the Wheelhouse Bar. She can sure use a drink. She absolutely loves “Life’s a Beach”, says it’s the best drink she’s ever had!..... To be continued……

Patti came back to the room and began to pack some of her things. Around 11am we made the short drive over to Icon Park….. Parking is free if you park on the 4th Level or above….. Here is a map of Icon Park…… We head into the Wheelhouse. There is a variety of attractions in here, including the entrance for the Wheel….. I have found my spot at the Wheelhouse Bar….. Post Cruise - (January 25th) - We enjoy our last day in Florida. We were up at 7am to another beautiful warm sunny day just like yesterday. Once again we went down to the Fountain View Café for the buffet breakfast. Afterwards, I went back to the room to begin my packing, while Patti went to take pictures of the hotel and property. Here are some outside views of the Rosen Inn International….. Patti heads inside to the Topsy Turvey Lounge…… This is the outside seating for the Topsy Turvey Lounge….. Lite Brite is where you go for snacks and stuff….. This is the Internet Center….. This is the Game Room….. To be continued…..

And they will remain locked in the vault. Even the mighty Sid was denied access to them!

Post Cruise - (January 24th) - A mostly do nothing day and a great dinner. We were up at 7am to a nice sunny day. The temperature might hit 80 degrees today. We head down to the Fountain View Café for the breakfast buffet. We really don’t have anything planned for today, so I’m going to rest up since I’m still not feeling that great, and maybe work on the pictures for the review. Patti is going to take the car and check out the outlet stores. She tells me to come out of the room so she can get my picture. That’s me up on the 6th floor….. I worked on pictures for a couple of hours until housekeeping knocked on the door. I wanted to let them do their thing, so I went down and sat by the pool for a while. Patti came back to the room around 3pm, and we just hung out and relaxed. Tonight we have a dinner reservation with a friend of ours from New Jersey at 6pm at Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant, which is right across the street from our hotel….. Here is our friend Diane….. Here are a few views of the restaurant….. Here are the menus….. I had the chicken potstickers and the jambalaya….. Patti had the fish & chips…. Diane had the shrimp and scallop risotto…… We had an excellent visit and a great meal. We got back to the room at 9:30pm, and called it a night. Coming up next: Our last day in Florida! (For now).

Here are the menus….. We shared a Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail….. Patti had the salmon….. I had the jambalaya……. Afterwards, we decided to head back to the hotel. Here are a few views as we took the moving sidewalk back to the parking garage…… Ten minutes later we are back on International Drive….. We decided to head to CVS to pick up some more meds and snacks. We passed the Sawgrass Steakhouse and the Wonder Works along the way….. We then went back to the hotel for the night. Patti checks out the Universal Studios Store….. Patti meets me back at Grill & Brew and we have a couple of drinks….. We decide to have lunch at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. We had to wait about ten minutes for a table..... Here are a few interior views of the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co….. To be continued……

Patti continues with her walk around City Walk…… You always need to stop at VooDoo Doughnuts….. To be continued…..

We really love both places, but Disney Springs is much bigger and more extensive, so it gets the nod. 😃

Screw them! If it's still there when we board in Seattle we'll be happy. I wouldn't complain about an Emeril's either, but Patti would!

These are the ticket booths and entrance to the Islands of Adventure….. Patti crosses over the bridge back to the City Walk side…. Here is Margaritaville and the Porch of Indecision….. Right across the way is the Lone Palm Airport. I’ve used this as a Husband Daycare many times….. There are a ton of shops, bars, and restaurants to explore….. To be continued…..

Patti is back on the Water Shuttle heading back to City Walk….. Back on dry land, Patti takes a walk around the lagoon. Here is the entrance to Universal Studios…..
