  1. And Antigua has a different beach for every day of the year! 😄
  2. You don't have to wait for the group if you want to get off. They include "in transit" passes so you can get off when you want to, and skip the lines to get back on board. The B2B paperwork you will receive will explain everything.
  3. Glad that you are enjoying those cabanas! The price increase will put a crimp on future cabana plans, but we have another Pool Cabana at Amber Cove in April that we booked at the old price. If you haven't already, we recommend a daybed at Paradise Beach. 😄
  4. Good for you! Maybe next time you'll get chosen to go on stage! Let us know how you do on the slots! 😄
  5. It was awesome to meet you guys and all the other Tribe members aboard the Celebration. We're sorry that we can't make the next one!
  6. After we finished eating, we made our way over to the Rosen Inn International on International Drive. It’s a three star hotel, but you can’t beat it for $70 a night. We checked in, and as we had requested, we were given a room on the 6th floor of the 200 Tower. We unloaded the car and brought up our suitcases and cooler for ice. This is our room # 2613…… We were done. Patti’s feet were really bothering her, and I was tired and suffering from the cruise crud. Patti took the car and drove over to the nearby Walgreens for some meds and snacks. Once we were medicated, we enjoyed our snacks while watching the football games. I crashed during the fourth quarter of the Bills / Chiefs game. Coming up next: We return to Disney Springs!
  7. After a four hour trip up the Florida Turnpike, we are just about there…. It is too early to check into our hotel, so we’re going to stop and have lunch. Once we turned onto International Drive, we passed some of our favorites…… We decided on the Bahama Breeze….. Here are some inside views….. Here are the menus….. I’ve got my Aruba Red….. We shared an order of beef empenadas (already missing two!)…… Patti had the salmon…… I had the jambalaya….. To be continued…..
  8. Day # 8 - (January 21st) - Goodbye Celebration, Hello Orlando! When we awoke at 6am the Carnival Celebration was already docked back in Miami. Here are some early morning Miami views….. Here is the Diamond debarkation information…… Here is the General debarkation information…… We got our carry-off bags ready and we’re ready to go. What follows is one of our best debarkations ever! The instructions for Diamond luggage debarkation said to meet in Celebration Central at 8am. We left the cabin at 7:20am to head downstairs. We took the stairs because getting an elevator would have taken forever. When we got to Celebration Central we were told that the Diamond luggage was ready and we could leave the ship. So we left the ship at 7:30am, and we really never stopped walking. We made our way to the escalator down to the baggage claim area, and once down there a porter came up to us asking if we needed assistance. Heck yes! You usually have to track one of these guys down. We found our luggage easily. The porter loaded us up, and into the passport line, through facial recognition, and out the door! The porter followed us over to Parking Lot “G”, and loaded up our car. We tipped him well for his efforts. The line to get out of the parking lot and pay for parking took about fifteen minutes. The rates are $22/day, or $154 for the week. Once out of the lot we got our last looks at the Carnival Celebration….. The Carnival Magic is also in port today….. It’s easy finding your way out of here. Just follow the signs to the tunnel….. Once through the tunnel we say goodbye to Miami. Don’t know when, if ever, we will be back here again….. Soon we are on I-95 North, which we will take to the Florida Turnpike, and to our destination today, Orlando…… This ends the cruise portion of our review. You are welcome to jump ship now if you would like, or remain on board for the remaining six days of our adventures. At the end of it all we will give you our final thoughts. Whether you leave or you stay, we would like to thank you all for reading!!! To be continued…..
  9. Yes, keep in mind that in all cases it's just the base fare.
  10. I played blackjack for a couple hours winning a couple hundred dollars in the process. I went to Sea Dogs for a couple of sausages with mustard and peppers, and then made my way to the Tides Bar, where I had a couple of Cruisers with Suresh. I then went back to the cabin to begin my packing. Patti was there hanging out on the balcony. Here is our last towel creation from Saung….. We’ve got our VIFP Party invites but we’re just going to blow it off…. Here are some late afternoon balcony views….. At 5pm we made our way down to the Red Frog Tiki Bar for one last get together with some of the members of the Tribe….. What a fantastic group of people! We hope to sail with each and every one of you again in the near future! Patti and I decided to have dinner at the Marketplace tonight. Here are our plates….. Afterwards, we made our way down to Celebration Central to see The Most Magnificent Circus. We weren’t able to get seats on the floor, so we decided to just call it a cruise and head back to our cabin. The cruise crud was kicking my butt again. We tracked down our Cabin Attendant Saung to thank her for a job well done, and to give her a little token of our appreciation…… We finalized our packing and put our bags out in the hall. This is always a sad picture….. So here’s the final Cheers tally: Patti (3), Jeff (11), so (+2) for today, and (+3) for the cruise, meaning we came out a little ahead of the game. We plan on getting Cheers for our B2B cruises on the Vista in April for further research. Lol. Coming up next: We sadly debark the Carnival Celebration and head to Orlando.
  11. Patti heads down to the Deli to get a grilled ham and cheese for lunch….. She’s back upstairs for the Ice Carving demonstration. Quite a lot of people are watching….. To be continued…..
  12. It’s time to Groove for St. Jude with CD Lee leading the way! To be continued…..
  13. Afterwards, I made my way over to the casino to play blackjack, while Patti went back to the cabin to finish her packing. Patti has her ducks all in a row….. Later, Patti heads upstairs for the Groove for St. Jude….. DJ Cue is spinning the tunes….. Here are some Beach Pool views while the people make their donations….. Can we squeeze some more people in that hot tub? To be continued……
  14. I was soon joined by Pat & Jim, Vic, and then Sid showed up with another duck that he had found to give to Patti. Thanks again Sid! At 10am I met Patti at the Grand Spectrum Theater for “The Wave” Morning show hosted by Lee, Louis, and the Bingo Host, whose name I forget….. They are joined on stage by Abraham who is the Watch Guy on board….. The end of the show…… To be continued……
  15. Day # 7 - (January 20th) - Fun Day at Sea # 3. We were up at 7am to a beautiful warm day, our final day aboard the Carnival Celebration…….. Here are the views from our balcony as the Celebration is getting closer to Miami….. The seas today are flat calm….. Here are the final Fun Times of the cruise….. Patti went up to the Marketplace for breakfast, and then went back to the cabin to begin her packing. I went to Bar 820 to get my morning coffee, and then went to the Red Frog Tiki Bar……. Cipriano kept the bloody Mary’s coming….. To be continued…..
  16. My guess it will be the Carnival Holiday. She came before Jubilee and Celebration.
  17. I collected when I was there in October!
  18. Love, love, love the Boatyard!!! 😃
  19. It was pretty smokey but then again it was an Elite casino cruise so the casino was packed. 😎
  20. Here are some of the appetizers. The jumbo shrimp cocktail….. Tuna tartare….. Lobster bisque….. Stuffed mushrooms….. Patti had the lobster tail with a baked potato….. I had the spice rubbed ribeye with mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms….. For dessert Jim had the chocolate sphere, and the rest of us had the apple torte….. It was a great meal! At this point I had come down with the cruise crud and I wasn’t feeling so well, so Patti and I went back to the cabin. She had some medicine for me which began helping right away. The laundry that Patti sent out this morning has been returned….. Here is today’s Cheers tally: Patti (4), Jeff (15), for a total of (19). That’s (+7) for today, and now we are (+1) for the cruise. Yep, I was able to max out today, even though I wasn’t feeling well towards the end of the day. Hopefully, Patti’s medicine chest will keep me in the game tomorrow! Coming up next: This Tribe cruise is coming to a close, but the shenanigans keep on coming!
  21. I played blackjack for a couple of hours losing $100, but it was all the free play money. I was feeling hungry so I went to Sea Dogs and grabbed a couple of Chorizo’s with mustard and peppers, and took them back to the Tides Bar. Suresh kept the Cruisers coming, and at some point Sid joined me. He grabbed something from Big Chicken, and we had a couple more drinks there. We then made our way down to the Watering Hole for some Watermelon Crushes. Sid tried to take the infamous mirror shots, but the mirrors were filthy! These pictures are courtesy of Sid….. After a couple of drinks here, we move inside to the Pig & Anchor Bar. Who do I find hanging out and drinking with Heather, Peter, Amy, and Megan? Patti! You go girl! We had a couple of drinks and then went back to the cabin where I took a nap. When I woke up the sun was just setting…… Tonight we’re having dinner with Pat & Jim at Fahrenheit 555….. Table setting….. Here are Patti and I…… The Chefs are hard at work….. Bread plates…. I don’t remember what the amuse bouche was, but it was pretty good….. To be continued…..
  22. Afterwards, I went to the casino to pick up our free play that we had won, and sat down to play some blackjack. Patti went to check out the Towel Folding demonstration. There were quite a few people there…… Patti got herself a nice seat with a table along the glass up on Deck 7 for the $5,000 Jackpot Bingo….. Unfortunately, she did not win. She made her way back to the cabin where she found today’s towel animal….. Patti hung out on the balcony for a while taking in the afternoon sea views….. To be continued…..
