After about an hour, Patti makes her way back to the ship….. After she boards she passes the Medical Center….. Back at the cabin she finds today’s towel animal….. Patti made her way up to the Lido Marketplace for some lunch. We both met back at the cabin where we relaxed until sail away. The Venezia sailed right at 4pm….. To be continued…..

We sail past the Carnival Venezia…… We are back at the excursion pier. Thanks Captain! I went back to the ship and went up to Guy’s Burger for a Ringer. I took it over to RoCoco and had a couple of Thirsty Frog Wheat’s to wash it down. Patti stayed out to explore the Pointe Seraphine shopping area….. To be continued……

We continue to sail past Sandals….. We are now sailing back into Castries harbor….. To be continued……

We sail past what appears to be a good snorkeling spot. A Sandals excursion boat is anchored there….. We are sailing past Sandals again, but this time much closer to shore….. To be continued……

The Captain turns us around and we are now heading out of Marigot Bay….. We sail past St. Lucia’s oil and gas reserves….. To be continued…..

The Captain turns the catamaran into Marigot Bay. This is a beautiful bay, lined with beaches, hotels, and restaurants. It also provides moorings for the larger pleasure boats, sailboats, catamarans, and yachts….. To be continued……

When I last left you, our catamaran had just finished visiting the Pitons, and we are now sailing north along the west coast of St. Lucia back towards Castries. Here are some views as we hugged the coastline….. To be continued…..

We can see the Pitons in the distance….. We sail into Soufriere Bay, spin around a few times, and then start to head back…. We begin our journey back to Castries….. To be continued…..

I think the ones at West Bay Beach in Roatan were worse. They never take no for an answer!

You don’t know how rare this is. Patti is actually in the water! We are both back on board now. I’m helping the local economy by buying some coconut….. This is the catamaran’s bar….. These are the men’s and woman’s heads (toilets, for you non nautical folks)….. The first mate pulls up the anchor and we resume sailing towards the Pitons….. To be continued…..

I head down the ladder and into the water…… Patti gets off the catamaran and heads onto the beach for some picture taking….. To be continued…..

A short time later the Captain pulls into a bay and the first mate drops the anchor…… The other catamaran follows us in….. Once we were anchored the vendors on kayaks flocked in. We had known this would be the case by reading the reviews on this excursion, and a simple no would usually work. Some were very persistent, but if they crossed the line the boat crew would admonish them……. We had about an hour here to go swimming, snorkeling, or whatever you wanted to do….. To be continued…..

We are passing one of the three Sandals Resorts on the island….. The other catamaran is trying to catch up…… They are coming around serving drinks. They are needed because it’s very hot today….. Patti and I are enjoying the ride….. The Captain is steering the catamaran with his feet! To be continued……
