  1. That Coffee price list out of days as of 10 days ago, as example because I drink them, a small "Americano" is now $3:50, and no longer the $2:00 price listed on the above thread price list photo, all other coffee variations have increased also Just off the Enchanted last week ...
  2. Us too,... We leave March 9th, green lane for a couple of months, and this morning POOF back to blue.. Still have green checks on all the categories, but no more green lane ????
  3. They're only doing away with the coffee swap to assumably push us towards more expensive packages, but the mini-bars remain and still have a monetary value for Princess, obc would simplify stocking and the labor of swaping out the individual bar items, and ultimately make elites and those in suites not feel that their previous perks are being eroded as much
  4. At this point Princess should just offer OBC for the mini-bar trade-in.. It makes the most sense, with lets say a $50 obc if desired you could still buy coffee's from the IC and everyone would be happy, and if spent anywhere else onboard it would actually cost Princess significantly less than the $50 obc dollar value because of their profit markups Could be a Win Win if Princess is listening ..
  5. Nope, no transaction fee of any kind when charging your account in the casino- either live action games or slots
  6. Well It's official, a poster on the other coffee card thread who is currently on a BTB on the Sky just said they just informed him today that starting on the next cruise his mini bar trade in for his coffee cards will no longer be available, and will be letting him know what is NO COFFEE options will be for his mini bar starting next cruise Bummer !!!!
  7. I think the poster senga said up thread that she/he had already purchased the packages and they had disappeared, and then yesterday they reappeared in her/his personalizer, so I assume that any pricing would revert back to when she/he purchased them, not any new pricing or new availability (??) .
  8. Could it have something to do with today is the day Feb 20th that the new gratuities prices goes into affect ??
  9. maybe we're all better off if you touch it !!!!!!!!
  10. Just another speculation... The terms posted clearly states several times that whatever the new package will be it will be based on a specific number of coffees, and says that it can be shared, so it doesn't appear it will be based on a daily charge or a unlimited package, but rather perhaps a more expensive break down on a per coffee pre-purchase formula of some kind. As far as the Elite trade-in for coffee cards, I can guess that there going to alter the 2 -.15-coffee cards currently offered for the trade-in to some lesser version based on the number of days the cruise is .... Anyway you spin it, we're going to lose something
  11. On the Sky Princess last August, on the two Fjords days the casinos didn't actually open until we reached open seas, about 3 hours after sailing.. So maybe Celebrity is different, but one of the two fjords stops for us was Skolden Norway, the longest fjord in Norway, about 125 miles long, and the casino didn't open until leaving the fjord completely to open sea almost 4 hours later YMMV .
  12. Yes that is so, but as the above poster tried to define the specific increases to the inflation rate, and a 50% increase in anything in the last 18 months can not be only attributed to inflation. If you take another travel scenario "Airlines" they have also raised their fares in the 50% or more range also, but thats 50% on their upfront cost of the ticket where the consumer can make an informed decision before purchase, but by in large the airlines have left their add on "hidden" charges (seat upgrades, luggage, onboard meals/drinks, etc) alone or inline with actual inflation. I personally prefer the Airline model which are more or less still pre-covid familiar with their classic historic pricing structure of market tolerance pricing, VS the new cruise line's strategy of nickel and dimeing and then blaming it on inflation after the fact to remain profitable
  13. Under your scenario/justification inflation in the last 18 months must be 50% -- $40.00 X 1.50 = $60.00 --- Nice post and definition, but try again ....
  14. I think the cruise blogger Tony from "La Lido Loco" did a video in the last couple weeks about a test he and his wife did onboard a Princess ship where he and his wife both started with the same pre- cruise bankroll for the casino to gamble for the entire cruise, he only played Craps, and she only played slots.. At the end she got a "Come Back and Play" offer for a free cruise with the Plus package, and he only got a offer for future " $500 Free Play" So it appears in this example slots get much better ratings and offers for the same amount of play then table games do .YMMV
  15. Just curious, do Elites get the 50% discount on the single day rate onboard too or only on the full cruise package ?
  16. Since you've received a casino mailing, you're already in the system for at least the casino discount, so decide which cruise you're interested in, and just call the regular Princess number and ask to have the code "Casino" applied to your quote. If it's not a "Free Cruise Offer" the regular Princess call center can quote the "Casino" discount. My guess your mailing offer is probably good for a discount on almost every cruise under 21 days (not holidays) Just pick the cruise you're interested in, and call and give it a try
  17. Usually there is a offer code somewhere on the mailing, with that offer code you should be able to use the search feature on the Princess website or at least call Princess with it and find out your specific exact discount and OBC based on your CCN# Again usually, those "over 900 cruise casino offers" are good for almost any cruises under 20 days, except holiday sailings
  18. The drink price limits on the Plus and Premium packages just went up to $15.00 Plus and $20.00 Premium, so this can only mean that onboard prices for current drinks are going up accordingly. Funny how Princess kept that little nugget of info a secret til after the Dec 14th deadline. .
  19. Drink prices limits on the Plus package just went up to $15.00, and Premium to $20.0 per drink, I can only assume that means the drink price onboard will be going up too.. So even if you don't take the Plus we'll all be paying for it anyway in the form of new higher onboard pricing
  20. Last week I prepaid, I'm Elite and the app acknowledges Elite, but still the discount did not appear, when I paid and push "purchase I thought maybe the discount would appear or the actual charge would be the discount, but no, the entire regular charge of $10 a day was processed. Guess I now have addition OBC for the 50% onboard (?)
