@cruiselvr04So sorry about your mom, it leaves your heart broken. My mom was 91 but still very active, driving and trips to Atlantic City. I am sure your mom is happy for you and watching over you❤️

The two kids have been seeing a therapist. I think my daughter is trying to be brave but I am trying to get her to talk to somebody. She does have a good group of her fellow teachers she talks with so that helps. Our family has been through a lot of trauma starting with Charlie’s heart transplant and other ills. I am sure I have mentioned this, this July will be nine years since my mom was killed crossing the street by our house. All six of the grandkids were devastated. I saw a therapist and it does help to speak to someone. He told me I was living my life which is good but he said you will never get over the loss. It was good to hear as some feel it should be pushed aside while you go on with life.

@HBE4 There are times when I can’t believe he is gone. He was my handyman. He was a master carpenter and could fix almost anything. Such a good dad.

Thank you HB. They just don’t understand the why of it all. My grandson said that sometimes he thinks his dad will be back but he knows deep down he won’t.

@Ocean BoyThey have their bad days. Father’s Day was especially hard for them, especially her daughter. She told me that she and her brother couldn’t celebrate Father’s Day😢 I told her she has grandpa and her uncles and she can remember her dad. It is hitting my daughter now, after staying so strong she is being hit hard with the reality of it all. We are all here for them and I thank you for asking.

My granddaughter, 14, bought a record player as she is into albums now. She went through a few of mine and has been buying her own. Naturally, Harry Styles, her favorite and Fleetwood Macs Rumors.

@HBE4Thanks for the info. She is seeing our dentist tomorrow, I will tell her to ask about the guard. Poor kid has been under an enormous amount of stress. I know you know how that feels.

The oral surgeon said it was not infected but TMJ related. She has another dental appointment tomorrow because the pain is too much. Surgeon prescribed naproxen.

My poor daughter, the one who lost her husband, can’t catch a break. She has been suffering with jaw and ear pain. They extracted her wisdom tooth last week but everything flared up again. She is now back at the oral surgeon. Hoping they figure out what is going on.

@h20skibumYou certainly never have a dull moment! Happy your son is safe. Friends of ours were supposed to go to Paris in May but canceled because of all the unrest there.

We kept waiting for the storms to roll through but so far none have🤞
