    We are doing okay. The people that have helped my daughter get through this have been amazing. The school she teaches at have donated so much it is overwhelming. Unfortunately, it doesn’t bring her husband back😢. She and the kids will be okay eventually, life goes on whether we want it to or not.

    Oasis has always been my favorite. Maybe because it was the first of the big ships we have sailed. There is just so much to do and see. Have never been bored.

    Debbie, we did a Thanksgiving cruise right after my mom died as we didn’t want to be home for the holiday. It was nice, I had a hamburger for Thanksgiving dinner!! They did the whole Turkey dinner thing.

    Our first cruise also was to Bermuda, still our favorite place.

    Anthem is really pretty decorated for the holidays. We have sailed quite a few before and after Christmas, never on the actual Christmas Day though. Some day I would like to do a New Year’s Eve cruise, don’t know about the crowds though.

    Our long day is over. I have never seen such an outpouring of love from so many people. There were my daughter’s fellow teachers, family , friends and even some strangers who just felt sad. The kids said their goodbyes and our hearts broke a little more. Going to bed now and hope to finally get a decent sleep. Thanks again for your kind thoughts and prayers. Marietta
