  1. There is a form that you need to fill out and send to the Access Desk - hopefully you are already aware
  2. I'm wondering if you did stay in 17730 and if so any review? I have it booked in June and don't really see any reviews online for that specific cabin
  3. Thanks everyone! I appreciate you taking the time to respond.
  4. Hey everyone - I'm looking for hotel recommendations and maybe some NYC insight as well. June 1-2 2024 with 4 adults so I'm figuring 2 rooms (me, husband, daughter, MIL (ages 31-72). Price range abt $500 and under. I need it to be clean. Also a decent size shower. Its just one night, but I am a little picky with hotels. Flying into LGA early Sat morning, cruise (MCT) on Sunday. Will have a driver pick us up. Will also arrange a tour of a few highlights with them as well so primarily looking for any hotel recommendations and dinner and maybe some evening suggestions (not a broadway show). Nothing crazy fancy, just good food, preferably comfortable. Don't necessarily want to wait in long lines, but if its worth it no biggie. We have done Black Tap previously. I am more of "where the locals go" but the other 3 really want touristy and Times square stuff. My MIL feels its prob the only time she'll get to NYC so a little bucket listy for her prob. I do use a small scooter (smartscoot) to get around and fully get that there may be some places that I cant get into, I'm also resourceful though so there's that. I do research stuff to death myself, so using this as a tool as well. Just came across "resort fee's" yesterday so that was a surprise. Do all NYC hotels have that charge?? Hubby wants to do ESB, not sure which is better that or Top of the Rock. Sorry if this is all discombobulated, appreciate any thoughts/recommendations or "don't waste time going there or doing that" etc.
  5. We have used NYC Perfect Transportation a few times now and have always had great service. We've used them for transport from airport to cruise terminal, cruise terminal to airport and have also used them for site seeing tour. For me I love that as soon as I get in their vehicle - I'm on vacation, I'm done planning for months, the driver meets us at the curb or at baggage (whichever we choose) and takes the luggage and I'm done and can relax and enjoy the ride. If doing a tour before or after cruising, luggage can just stay in the vehicle.
  6. Same here. We are on in June and don't want to buy the thermal spa pass until we can confirm whether or not there is a therapy pool
  7. I'm trying to decide between our usual AFT Haven cabin or the 2br villa in haven proper. We've done the aft haven cabin 3 times now. Have never done a cabin in haven proper. We're on the Joy in June. 4 people and have an aft haven and adjoining reg balcony booked and also a 2br family villa with large balcony. I have to make a choice between the two...UGHHH. Idk if putting an adult in the 2nd bedroom villa is going to be comfy with a pull-out couch bed or if it will feel like they are in a closet
  8. We had a no-show last Oct. They did ask for a reason for the no-show. about a week or 2 after we did get refunded port charges etc.
  9. I am having the opposite problem, I was able to upgrade one person in the cabin (who has 150 free WIFI minutes) at $109 but not the second person (who also has 150 free WIFI minutes) and definitely not the third person who has no free WIFI minutes. I'm assuming I cant do the 3rd person because they don't have any free WIFI minutes. All three have the upgrade option for $109 but when I select it for persons 2 and 3 is says unavailable
  10. Give NYC Perfect Transportation a look. You could do a post cruise NYC 3-4 hour tour with them and then they transport you to the airport. We've used them a few times and have always loved their service. Actually working on booking them again for Oct cruise
  11. Last year I wanted to book the thermal spa when I got on board to use obc. It was $199 but went up to $299 before boarding.
  12. so I am wondering if "all (haven) rooms are ready" includes the haven rooms, aft specifically, that are not in haven proper? On previous trips we have never felt like we could go to ours since the rest of the ship wasn't ready yet.
  13. I've used them for 1 vehicle airport to hotel with 3 hr tour of NYC in 2018, also 2 separate vehicles for our group of 6 plus luggage and my small travelscoot scooter from airport to cruiseport and cruiseport back to airport in 2022 (didn't want to use the sprinter). Will be booking again in Oct for our Bermuda cruise. They were a lifesaver for me with our group. I'm not a bus fan. Communication was great, I got in the vehicle at the airport and had zero worries after that. Happy to answer any questions. They also offer a 10% discount if you use code RIDENYC - don't miss that.
  14. I was so looking forward to this on our cruise in Oct and didn't realize until recently that they stop doing in august 😞
  15. We have also stayed in 11312 on the escape and looking forward to staying in it again in Oct. Love that cabin
  16. We have used NYC Perfect Transportation for a NYC tour as well as transport from both airport to cruise terminal and cruise terminal to airport, airport to hotel with NYC tour etc. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Happy to answer any questions.
