The Big Lebowski Posted January 12, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 12, 2018 We're headed for the Panama Canal on Super Bowl Sunday 2018. I'm sure there will be some type of hoopla and the game will be up on the MUTS screen. Just not sure how early we can board to get a seat within site of the screen. Of course I want front row. We have a suite but our boarding time isn't until 1:30 (yuck)!!! By then we'll likely be watching in our cabin cause every seat will be taken bow to stern. What to do??? What to expect??? Rare Keith1010 Posted January 12, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 12, 2018 Welcome to Cruise Critic. I would post this on the Princess Cruise Line Board where others can share with you their prior experiences on Super Bowl Day as to what Princess does. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=-1&f=191 Keith
paul929207 Posted January 12, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 12, 2018 The 1:30 boarding time is a suggestion, not a requirement. Boarding usually begins about 11:30. As you have a suite, you will be in the priority group which will also include passengers who are elite or platinum in the Captain's Circle. Rare Essiesmom Posted January 12, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 12, 2018 It will probably be shown on a big screen in the theater also. EM
jdvmd Posted January 12, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 12, 2018 You can board around 11:30 a.m. Doesn't the game begin later like 6 p.m. or so?

Robinsoncruiseso Posted January 18, 2018 #8 Share Posted January 18, 2018 We left Port Everglades on the Regal Princess on Super Bowl Sunday. We always board as soon as we can (11:30 am normally). They did show the game on MUTS. They set up a reserved section and brought in loveseats and chairs. They sold the experience for $50 which included 5 beers. They served a different food (chicken wings, sliders, nachos and one other) each quarter. Only bummer was the satellite feed did not include the commercials, but we did learn alot about the Carribbean Cricket League.
