Hi Everyone, Been on several cruises, but this will be my first one, where pictures are through something called pixels, on the Magic. Does anyone know the cost of a 8 x 10 when purchasing on ship? Thanks in Advance.

Thank you Georgie562! I think I will just pre-order the pixel package prior to boarding. The 16x20 seems to make it a pretty good value. From Carnival website...."choose up to 5 of your favorite photos for professional printing on-board, and one photo for a 16”x20” canvas portrait".

What I highlighted above in light purple is what we paid last week to download the photos via the Hub app (actually, it was $14.99 but who's quibbling over a penny?).

I can only go by what Windows tells me with regard to pixel dimensions: 3000x2400 (or the reverse if in portrait mode).

So for an 8 x 10 that would be 300 dpi. Not impressive.

Pixels is expensive. My wife got them to shoot some "professional" family portraits on our Thanksgiving cruise. The shoot was free. Then they drug us in for the sales pitch. What they put in front of us was ok as far as quality, but they wanted $1200 for it -- a scrapbook, a coffee-table book, a gallery wrap, and a couple of prints! We bought three 8x10s and called it a day.
