Sailed on the Triumph last week and was very impressed with live music: the live show band in the main lounge, the great band in casino, the guitar player in lobby lounge and carribean music on lido. Triumph still has a live show band in the main lounge and had two big productions that were wonderful. The first was music from around the world (theme for the ship was the World) and the last night was a tribute to Music of the Big Easy since she sails from New Orleans. We really enjoyed the food and everything about the ship. This was our 13th cruise and one of our best.

According to the Carnival website, Victory doesn't have Guy's Burgers, Blue Iguana Cantina, Red Frog Rum Bar, or the Blue Iguana Tequila bar. Triumph has all of that...Plus Triumph is in New Orleans and Victory isn't :D. I've been on Triumph twice in the past 13 months and she gets my vote.

Victory does not have those things - but she does have an AWESOME piano bar and a fabulous Serenity Deck with the best bartenders ever! There's the Alchemy Bar onboard too.

We sailed her out of Miami to Key West and Cozumel last month and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Yeah from what I can tell Serenity would be the one thing Victory has that Triumph doesn't. Triumph has the piano and alchemy bars as well...and Triumph is in New Orleans.
