Freedom Spa Amenities- What is the "spa" pictured on the deck plan

The deck plan by the pools show "spas" which refer to the hot tubs/jacuzzis there. In the actual spa facility, it also shows a larger oval which they call a "spa" as well. How is that different from the ones on the outer deck? Is it a thalassotherapy pool?

Does anyone have details on the pricing for spa treatments? What type of specials do they offer on port days?

Unless they've changed it, it's a hot tub.

Is there a charge for using that hot tub? Or is it free for anyone to use like the other ones?

No charge for the tub.

We had friends who recently went on the Freedom and they thought everything around the Spa was a fee - hot tub, steam room, sauna. We use them on every ship! Love the relaxation.

The only ships that have a for fee spa pass are ships with a Cloud 9 Spa. The Freedom does not have one of these. It is on the Breeze, Dream, Magic, Splendor. Sunshine, Vista, and Horizon. All the ships have a Spa Deck but that doesn't mean it has a Cloud 9 Spa.

What does the Cloud 9 spa offer on the other ships?

All the Conquest class ships - Conquest, Glory, Freedom, Valor and Liberty were originally built with a hot tub in the middle of the gym area. On some of them, the area got remodeled for spin or pilates classes. I used to enjoy the gym hot tub since there usually were no kids there.

Yes, that's why I like using the ones in the spa area. Current deck plans still show one on Freedom.
