Thank you for the article. I feel a little better about visiting San Juan and St. Thomas. In St. Thomas Celebrity is only offering 4 shore excursions which had me concerned for our trip in January.

thanks for the info. i just booked for next month and will be in st thomas st maarten and i had no idea what progress had been made since the devastation

My sister and niece were on the Dec 9th Celebrity Equinox sailing. They said Old San Juan was pretty sad. Very few businesses were open, with the exception of CVS and Walgreens. People were begging for $. She stated that after seeing the devastation, she was surprised that Celebrity decided to stop there.

St. Thomas was a bit better, but the power went out when they were shopping.
