12 noon flight at MIA doable?

DISEMBARK at 6 am POM. Will a 12 noon flight at MIA be a rush if I am not carrying off lugggage, will go through customs and taking the shuttle to the airport?

I can tell you that you will not disembark at 6:00 AM but you likely can start getting off the ship sometimes between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM.

You will be fine getting to the airport to make your flight.

Consider taking Uber or a Taxi.

12:00pm from MIA out of Port Miami is fine. If you get in on a weekend the drive should be no more than 20-mins. A weekday, max 40mins but even then should be around 20-30mins.

We usually get to the airport early and get standby for earlier flights than the noonish we typically book. We've taken off as early as 9:45. You'll be fine...barring anything unusual happening.

For a 12:00 flight you need to be at MIA by 10:30 - and 10:00 or earlier is better. The cab/Uber/Lyft ride from POM will take 15-20 min, so that translates into off the ship, with bags, and clear of customs/immigration by about 9:30 or so. Should be easy - you can sleep in (a bit) and enjoy breakfast in the MDR.

I would go with 10:00 AM to get to the airport. I agree with JohninDC the earlier the better.

Yes. We've cruised out of Miami many times, and always book a flight home that leaves around 12 noon. We don't rush off the ship, and we've never had any trouble making a noon flight.

(and agree with above reply: You will not disembark at 6am, that's just when the ship docks. First walk-off, under normal conditions, is around 8am.)

Should be no problem. Several times we have made noon flights out of FLL after getting off ship in Miami.:)
