Hammocks?

From time to time I read that someone has put a hammock on their balcony

How is that accomplished? Attached to ?

Brand? Advice? Don't the stewards remove it? Is it something you take down when not in use?

I did it a few years ago. it was an aft balcony on a M class, nice big balcony. I tied one end off to the railing and the other diagonally across to one of the support columns holding the side panels.

Not sure you can do it on a S class.

Did you take it down when you weren't using it? Any problems? As I will have an aft balcony on an M class as well

I love the large overhang above the AQ1 cabins. I take a hammock and string it from the struts beyond our balcony rail. Stand on the rail and get into the hammock with only the sea below me. Nice cool breeze and can see into all the balconies below. 🤗😱

Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Eeek. I would NOT..

My 200lb ass would knock those pipes off and 1/2 the ship would lose electricity or water or something..

That was a JOKE.... those are the fire sprinklers :-)
