Interior on Independence OTS

My fiancé and I will be going on IOS in early 2014. In the past we have always booked a balcony or an outside room, but the deal on this interior cabin is too good to pass up (and the jump in price to an oceanview or balcony is quite substantial!)

It looks like decks 6, 7, and 8 are most popular. After view the deck plans, it seems some of the interior rooms are squished together in areas where there is a separate hallway all packed with interior rooms, and something across from a balcony room looks like a must nicer choice. Any recommendations for a good inside cabin on IOS? Any good deck or specific cabin do's or don't's?

Thank you!

Each cabin will be the same, no matter where it is. I would pick a deck closest to where you think you'll spend most of your daytime hours. Being near stairs and elevators is a huge bonus....those areas are in a foyer and aren't noisy.

Some folks like to be "sandwiched" between other cabin decks. I prefer the top deck, since I spend most of my days at the pool...1 flight of stairs is a breeze!!! Much faster than waiting on elevators!

I would look for a cabin towards mid ship.
