indygirl76 Posted June 18, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2018 Hi all! After many years of Carnival cruises, I'm looking at a Celebrity sailing next May. As I'm comparing prices and agency perks, I've found a couple of enticing offers, but those agencies don't give the option of the "Go BEST" package [Premium drinks package, tips included, unlimited wifi, and $150pp OBC] at the time of booking. Is it possible to add that package after booking? And if so, is it the same price (currently $315pp for a 7 night sailing, via the Celebrity site and also some agencies, but inconveniently not the same ones that offer the attractive perks)? Thanks in advance for your help!
bornabilly Posted June 18, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 18, 2018 Just ask for the go best package when you call. I have switched to it later in the booking process. I know one agency I use doesn’t advertise it, but it is available when I ask.
Gonzo70 Posted June 18, 2018 #3 Share Posted June 18, 2018 If you book with a travel agent, any upgrades have to be done through them - so you would have to check with the travel agency you are using if you can do this upgrade after booking and what the price would be. Nobody but the specific travel agency you are using can answer this question for you.

I'd be very surprised if they can't/won't book the cruise with the Go Best package.
ricklepickle Posted June 18, 2018 #5 Share Posted June 18, 2018 I did. My TA is a big box one, they don’t show these promotions in their site. But the agents I spoke to all knew about it and helped me several times. Two rooms in my party have one perk, and one has Go BEST (this makes sense for our groups needs) and the TA was very helpful. Thanks in advance for your help! I would be very surprised if you could not pay for the Best package when booking. I would be caution if the TA was telling you that you could not get the Best pricing with your booking. (Something unusual about the particular booking). The BBB is just bundled pricing depending on how many perks you want to purchase. Sometimes Celebrity runs special pricing. Good luck.
indygirl76 Posted June 18, 2018 Author #7 Share Posted June 18, 2018 Perfect, I'll call to see if they can do it at the time of booking, thanks all! The sites I'm looking at only have the one perk / two perks options shown online, but I haven't called yet. Note: I did sent an email request to one site that doesn't do online quotes at all (which should have been my "run away!' sign), and got a series of emails, from a "Cruise Specialist" who had no idea what I was talking about and kept repeating the "room only" price. Whoopsy daisy!
