Out of Galveston-first week of December question

We are going out of Galveston the last week of November. We know the weather will most likely be on the chilly side. Approximately how long will it take for the boat to get us out to nice, summer, tropical weather where the kids will be able to play and swim?

 

We took the same cruise back in June and with the help of the board had a great time! Thanks for your help!

Last week in November the weather could be from cool to almost hot in Galveston. It could be in the 40s at night, but would get to the 60s during the day. It could also be in the 60s at night and up into the 80s during the day. The water temp probably won't be below the very upper 60s at that time. Ah, Texas weather!!:D

 

Anyway, can't believe that it won't be plenty warm the morning of your first full day at sea.

, there have been plenty of Thanksgiving Days and Christmas Days where lot of us have been dressed in more of Summer attire than Fall or Winter!

First Week in December is Dickens on The Strand in Galveston

Sailed out of Galveston the first week in December once. Sailaway was actually pretty mild, upper 60s. By the next afternoon I was swimming, though the water was pretty cold at first.
