Sapphire princess charges for room service??

I just read a review from a CC member that said they had to pay for room service every morning? Is this true? The money you pay is for the individuals who prepare your tray? Is this correct? Anyone know? I cruise the Sapphire Nov. 28th, Mex. Riv. I have never heard of this? HELP.... I love my room service every morning .... coffee... fruit... and balcony.... I am hoping this isn't true.

Shirley, I'm going on the Sapphire on Wednesday for a quick repo cruise, Vancouver to LA. I'll let you know. I'd be surprised if they actually charge for delivery morning room service. I do always have a dollar or two handy to tip the delivery person, perhaps that's what the post you read was talking about. The tipping in cash is optional. I tend to do it "to insure promptness".

I don't use room service but I am almost positive there is no charge for room service, except for a pizza delivery. A tip is always a good idea, though. Don't stress! :)
