Has anyone ever hit a jackpot on slots on the ships?

I just got off an 11 day cruise to Alaska on the Star Princess. I hit 4 jackpots, $4000, $4000, $2000 and $2000. I put most of it back in to play.

Yes, they were. Had one Royal, one 4 aces with the kicker and 2 with 4 deuces on the deuce's wild game.

Went to Atlantic city this past weekend and was playing deuces jokers wild quarter machine and got dealt a royal flush. I wash shocked considering it was a deuces wild joker game.

Playing the penny machines on Explorer of the Seas, 2nd night, betting .60, only put in $20, within a few spins, hit for $600, 2 months ago.

 

A few years ago, same ship betting only .90 cents a spin on a Life of Luxury machine, max was $2.40. It was the day before our last night and during that day on different spins each of the gems popped up, opal, ruby emerald, sapphire and diamond. Was able to select each gem correctly (which is tough without playing max.) and won well over $2000 that day. Glad it was near the end of the cruise and was able to go home with the majority of the money.

WOuld youbelieve it, I hit the free spins again. 36 free games. How much do you think I got back? $3.50. I sort of mentioned that to the service desk on the way out. She couldn't believe it. I told her I would be back on July 32nd.

Cruised on the Royal Princess 4/18/15 and had three hand pays on the video poker machines. First night I hit $1600, then another $1600 and finally 4 aces plus the kicker for $4000. I had been playing at the $2 level on that machine, but just switched to $1 when I hit. I hope to sail on her again some day.

 

The week before I was on the Carnival Conquest and the VP machines had horrible pay tables. For example on Deuces Wild the 4 deuces usually pay 1000 coins, on Conquest it pays 500 coins. What a ripoff! I should have played the table games. No one was winning on the ship.

I was at TAJ last month again and hit $1000 on 3 face joker poker then kept hitting small jackpots on penny machines then played 3 card poker table hit for $600 went back to play the three face Joker poker machine but it was full so I walked around to the other side which was the dollar machine I hit five of a kind for $2400 payout while waiting for my pay I put money in the machine next to me and was dealt three straight flushes for another $900. It was a day to remember I couldn't lose no matter what I played

I forgot to tell you that on my may 10th sailing on the breakaway being hot- new rule for comp meal. casino will not pay for the drinks associated with the comp, like they did in the past.( i was going to report to you when I got back but couldn't find that thread)

Woohoo loving these jackpot stories!! Funny though that a lot of the really big hits are in the land-based casinos. I guess that's always to be expected, since the land casinos are regulated and in competition. I mean, where are we going when we're losing on the ships? Jump into the ocean? [emoji13]

 

My boyfriend has been on a little run in AC. We took two trips down six weeks apart. The first time, he hit two $1800 hand pays , one at Bally's and one at Golden Nugget. Then, Memorial Day weekend, he was just under a hand pay on THE SAME MACHINE at Bally's and then hit another $1600 on THE SAME MACHINE at GN. Just bizarre...and delightful! [emoji1] And I managed to finish both trips up a little bit, too. Everything comped and leaving with their money?! That hasn't happened for us in a while and we better not start getting used to those results!

Saw a guy won $1000 on $1 quickhit machine one night, my friend got that same $1000 jackpot on another machine a few nights later.

 

My friend also got 8 quickhits on one cruise, less than $1000 jackpot. We were sitting next to a guy who got 9 quickhits on another cruise, too bad that's not us.

Woohoo, that's great! You just made my day. I am not really a max bet player unless I am way up, so $.60-$1.25 tends to be where I live. It's nice to see a good jackpot at that bet level!

I did ! On the Norwegian Jewel last November . $3000.00 on the penny quick hits playing max of $3.00 . It was so much fun I wish I could do it again.

Yes, we won the jackpot on the progressives the first day. As the week progressed, I noticed fewer and fewer jackpots being won as the casino began to earn back their jackpots.

I usually find the first night is pretty good but in the middle of the cruise it gets very slow. I stick to card games in the middle.
