Don Tequila Posted October 12, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 12, 2009 Can you take your luggage with you when you disembark or do you have to have a porter take it for you and claim it later? Ours has wheels and I have carted it all over the place so it would not be a big deal if I had to take it with me. Don Tequila
cb at sea Posted October 12, 2009 #2 Share Posted October 12, 2009 As long as you can get it off easily and with no help, you can carry your own. You don't want to be disrupting the flow of passengers trying to walk, tho! (Almost everyone's luggage has wheels, nowadays!) And be prepared to have to lift it down stairs and escalators--they don't alway allow luggage to be set on the stairs!

You don't need to worry about stairs use the escalators (but they can be busy and full). Any reason why you need to take it yourself ? We always have a small overnight bag for that last night. We also sometimes prefer to do the luggage valet, have had great experiences with that.
TEXASMUNK Posted October 12, 2009 #5 Share Posted October 12, 2009 You have to take it all in one trip. Once off, you cannot return to the ship.
