Kiwi Kruzer Posted November 7, 2009 #3 Share Posted November 7, 2009 Adelaide also has a port cam as well. Unfortunately it is static and points out to the Outer Harbour. However if you know when a ship is arriving or leaving you can get a good shot . http://www.transport.sa.gov.au/news_media/webcams.asp It a shame they could not swing it around when a cruise ship is in port and we would get a good view of it. They did - at Broome or Exmouth - and there was a good shot of a couple leaning over the rail. However the cam wasn't working for a couple of days after leaving Albany so maybe they don't want to touch the cam in case that happens again. Princess, and sometimes P&O are very good at doing that, but my comment was in regard to the port cam at Adelaide that is fixed and cannot move. If they could swing that up onto the terminal we could see the whole ship:D
Lizard© Posted November 7, 2009 Author #7 Share Posted November 7, 2009 Yes that would be good for the cam to swivel, the terminal has had a make over too, finished and opened early this week. Oh well, she's supposed to be leaving 6pm our time so I'll be watching the cam to see her sail away. :)
Kiwi Kruzer Posted November 7, 2009 #8 Share Posted November 7, 2009 I was very impressed with the terminal you have there. If its had a make over , it must now be stunning....
