mikemcf31 Posted November 10, 2009 Author #7 Share Posted November 10, 2009 By "current" I just meant a movie that is still in the theaters. Last cruise I was on they showed the movie "Next" w/ Nicholas Cage which my son and I cought while my wife and 5 year old were off at some kiddie parade

nanfromatlanta Posted November 10, 2009 #9 Share Posted November 10, 2009 They won't be showing anything that is playing at a first run movie palace. That has been my experience also. The movies are most often at least a few months old.

Not that I want to be an instigator, but the odds are really good that they will be having a midnight show of the stupid (sorry..gut reaction) movie on the 19/20th. Not to mention, that it will almost certainly be playing within easy driving distance of the hotel you will be staying at on the 20th so let him get it out of his system before you sail. Some people like to lay in the sun, some like to drink all day, some like to watch movies.
