Good Dinner Ft. Lauderdale 17th St. Causeway Area

Has anyone eaten in any of the restaurants in this area lately? Years ago we tried Bravo Italiano and Bimini Boatyard. They were okay, but was wondering if anyone had any better suggestions? Would like to keep it moderately priced and within walking distance of the Hilton Marina or perhaps just a short cab ride.

Also, does anyone know if any of the restaurants on restuarants.com are in this area or short cab ride and are worthwhile to go to.

Thanks

We always take the water taxi down to Charley's Crab. We always have an excellent meal here and we always eat outside on the canal. The bus stop is the Shooters stop. The very last one or first one depending on how you look at it. If you choose to go, make outside reservations. It is such a great place to be.

Taza is on Restaurants.com and offers nice moderately priced Mediterranean food and belly dancers. Coco has great Asian food. Quarterdeck is fine for casual food. I hear that Kelly's Landing is really good for New England style casual seafood, but I haven't tried it yet.
